What did Kengo do?.
also, nobody better be talkin' **** about Kengo.
Exactly. Kengo was just gullible, and he took Wataru's advice as betrayal. That's nothing compared to "Sumi wa sumi da."

Well of course the Fangaire are winning the past, you have an incomplete Rider system and a few humans fighting them, Kiva's had time to fight in the present day. They haven't forgotten their purpose, they've just had lives, which is kinda hard for Wataru when he kept himself shut in for all those years. Jiro's just been using the Hunters, he's not out to kill Fangire, just Rook and make some babies with Yuri. I think Otoya is a much better character than Wataru. He puts up a happy front, but he's a pretty troubled guy, people don't like him and won't believe him, he fights and gets beaten on so much for a woman that won't even look his way, yet he still acts happy and won't give up on her. Yuri's losing because she's only human, she probably likes Jiro more than Otoya because he thinks he's stronger than her and deep down, she wants someone to protect her after what happened with her mother. I don't dislike Wataru as a character, but I honestly don't get all the praise for him. He's a nice guy, yeah, he has his breaking points, sure, but that doesn't make him better than Otoya, at least not in my opinion.Wataru has the best interaction with the other characters and enemies. While the past is a endless round of the same manners from Otoya, Jirou and Yuri. Wataru is slowly maturing, while his Dad is still stepping on the same stone again and again and again - and tripping in the water without attempting a new strategy. Seriously, no wonder that IXA was a failure in the past and FanGire succeeded in that time, when the people who could have helped only to fought over the technical Rider and forgot their real purpose there. :disappoin Wataru seems with his just 20 years and isolated childhood right now far more grown-up mentally than his father was with 22. :redface2:
Just gullible? That´s justifying insulting your so called "best friend", which you only took advantage of up to now, who in the process of offering help and supporting you neglected his own work and dream just for you? So, it´s okay to blame your best, devoted friend who just tries to warn you of jealousy, cut the acquaintance out of that reason and humiliate him by shoveling dirt on him? If somebody missed it, Wataru was hurt by that and would have had all reason to let Kengo walk right into a trap, but no, what did our ingenuous hero ...
