Done the UC era Gundam. Now begins the seperate shows.

What did you guys think of G Gundam and how was the overall tone of the series compared to the UC Gundams?.

I will be watching the dub version.

G-Gundam is the predecessor to Gurren Lagan. By that, I mean it's an over the top giant robot series that operates on the "Rule of Cool" I liked it as a kid and still do. The dub just adds to it. There's nothing better than early 90's anime dubbing from Canada. :castlerock:

If you have the anime legends box set(s), make sure to read the "G-Files" info in the extras section. There's lots of good stuff in there.

The first batch of episodes may seem repetitive but, it works out; if it ends up bothering you, I'd advise, just make sure to stick with it till Master Asia debuts.

I'm a Tokusatsu fan so repetative doesn't bother me.

I never drop a series unless It's utter retardation like B-Robo Kabutack.
