Does anyone listen to anything involving screaming? I would love some suggestions for some screamo bands, or just bands that scream.

So far, the bands that I love are:
Underoath
The Devil Wears Prada
As I Lay Dying
August Burns Red
Emery
Alesana
Pierce the Veil
As Cities Burn
The Fall of Troy
Silverstein
Rosesdead
Chiodos

These are just the main bands I love. Any suggestions on more?

Here's my thoughts on Bands with Screaming:

A song is like a nice pan of spaghetti. Screaming is the Garlic that you put in it. Now you don't want to put too much garlic in the spaghetti, because it will make the sauce to bitter and ruin the spaghetti. You want to lightly dash it throughout the sauce, mixing it in thuroughly to make it taste good.

I listen to death metal . I don't consider it screaming but most people probably do haha :buttrock:

My fave type of music:thumbs:
My fave band is Saosin, their older songs with the old singer are more hardcore, but the new ones are still good.
Norma Jean, mostly screaming but they got nice melodies.
Old Lost Prophets stuff.
Scary kids scaring kids
Killswitch Engage

And I agree with Kenori, screaming is nice, but only at the right time and not too much.

Don't listen to a lot of post-hardcore... but I do like a few bands like Boysetsfire, Dir en Grey, Trust Company.

Most of the screaming I hear comes from Black Metal... Burzum, DarkThrone, Emperor, Immortal, Mayhem, and Marduk.

Opeth and Into Eternity are the only good Progressive Death Metal bands I've heard... They both mix actual singing with Screaming/barked lyrics.

When it comes to rock 'n roll and heavy metal, 'screaming' is quite broad. There are lots of bands that have screaming singers that aren't hardcore/screamo, such as Dio, Metallica, Deep Purple, Dokken, and Led Zeppelin. Heck, even Stevie Wonder does it.
