so far so good just got out of the citadel i somehow got the scholar achievement now to get back into the thick of the fight hopefully with my next level i can unlock shotguns, the pistol is fun but it takes too many shots to take enemies down

I have my assault weapon maxed out. It's all I ever need(besides the Mako of course. ^^)

I just hold the button down and observe how fast I drain the life of my enemies. :buttrock:

So, did anyone try storming the biotic terrorists in the Hades Gamma sector? And did you get the floor mopped with your shredded asshole as well?

Figured these side quests would be a bit.. easier. At least to start out with.

Also... who found all 21 Keepers? ^___^ I did! I was expecting an Accomplishment for that one.... :redface2:

I got lucky with the biotic terrorists my second try. Flung a couple grenades and detonated them just in time. The rest were taken down by my Vanguard's Carnage and Garrus and Ashley mowing them down with assault rifle fire.

Oh, and koji, we need to choose between Ashley and Liara after Feros? Crap, I skipped Noveria to do Feros first cos I thought Benezia'd be a bitch to deal with so needed to train up a bit.

Yeah, Noveria is the planet required to advance in the plot. You don't have to do Noveria first, but Feros comes afterwards in the strategy guide since it's doesn't require in advance, but I don't know yet because I'm on Feros right now. I'm at one of the most interesting points in the game so far. I wonder what you guys decided to do about a certain Krogan. haha :anime:

I recently, FINALLY, managed to get out of the citadel. Took me forever to figure out how to get back on my ship though. :sweat: Managed to pick up a ton of side-quests on the way though. Finished up Assassin's Creed just a few minutes ago so now I can devote a lot more time to the hotness that is Mass Effect.

I only got to play for six and a half hours yesterday (had to study), but I want to wrap myself in it like a blanket. I love how on the Citadel there's futuristic elevator music :laugh:

I'm almost 8 hours in and I haven't touched the main quest since the Citadel. :anime:

Found Wrex's old armor tho. I'm gonna go check out some strange readings first, then try and find Liara.

Is it just me or does Garrus totally suck? I mean, everytime there's a firefight, he dies almost instantly.

Try training him up a bit and focus on tech skills while leveling up. I had the same problem with Tali, but I left her a while to level up with the others, maxed out Decryption and Electronics and suddenly she's a powerhouse. The good thing with tech guys is that their shields become damn strong as long as you stick with them. Plus, I find that tech powers are way better than biotic powers.

You got Geth? Overload them.
You got Husks? Same thing.
You got organics? Sabotage them; their shields take a severe whack and their weapons short out temporarily.

Not to mention the fact that getting loot is way simpler.
