Makings of a Legendary Power Ranger

Connor was a joke. Even his actor couldnt take him seriously. Connor McKnight was and always will be just "king of all jocks" But instead of taking actual steroids to win games, he was the most battlized overpowerd ranger of all time. Shane and Hunter could kick his behind and while they were cool (Hunter cooler than Shane!) they were not "legends" so there is no way Connor could be. Having a legend for a mentor doesnt make you one yerself.

As for Jack. I do love Jack and think hes a fine leader. Hes had a lot of character development over the series so far. Is he a legend? Nah. Hes definitely a true hero tho, which is a great start. I dunno how SPD will end tho. But by the time its over he could very well obtain legend status somehow. This meaning he will accomplish something pretty gosh darn fantastic that no other Ranger could... SO right now, no hes not. But we might think otherwise when all is said and done.

Conner is teh best Red Ranger ever, and Doug Sloan is teh r0x! :jam: :jam: :jam:

Are you kidding me? Conner doesn't deserve to be a legend Power Ranger. He's an idiot, blabbed, wussy, and whinny.

Screw Conner "Blabber" McKnight. He is the worst Red Ranger EVER along with that idiot, jungle man, hyper named... Cole Evans.

I don't even have a comment about Doug Sloan.

Of course I am! That's why it's so funny to read some of the reactions of the people in this thread.

Good thing I don't have any habit to insult Doug Sloan again. I don't want to do it again. :)

Conner sucked. I loved Shane. He was a good red ranger. Conner was poorly written and a jack ass of a character. That and he was way over powered. He didnt even EARN Triassic or the Battlizer. He just cried for them both and got them. He didnt do anything to deserve it. And when he got them, he pretty much voided all team work. I mean he got his own fucking megazord, Triassic AND Battlizer. Meaning he was the one man show. He could take down everything by himself. Having the others there was a mere formality to him. The battlizer was so powerful it owned Mesogog in his final form. I mean wtf. Blegh.

Jack is a kewl red ranger so far. But I wont go as far as to call him legendary yet. SPD isnt over yet so I will reserve judgement until the show is over and I can judge Jack based on an entire season.

I liked Cole. He was kewl and I liked him. Conner has to be the only red ranger I havent liked. Worst red ranger in history actually. He is a disgrace to Zordon's name

I think Legendary Status is based on how much they actually devote to their responsibilities. Jason and Tommy went through Hell together. It's amazing Andros made it through Sane, and Eric and Wes saved Reality as we knew it. Conner could have been great if not for poor writing. (PRDT, the ONLY season I KNOW I could have written better) And I think Jack is Well on his way to being a legend, but time will tell. Personally I'd give legend status to Shane. he went all out.

I dont watch much Power Rangers, but I did see the first few episodes of SPD and I liked how Jack started out, ironically, as a criminal. Sure they later copped out by making him the Robin Hood type, but still, it was refreshing that he wasn't a Malibu surfer or sports star.

I'm not a fan of Jack.

He started off okay at least but he's a weak leader. That's partially because he seldom has the opportunity to actually lead, most of the time he just does what Cruger tells him to do during a battle. Jack would have benefitted from having DC disappear for a few eps to actually show what he's capable of but that would deprive us of Doggie, the best thing about SPD, so forget that option.

The few time's Jack does take charge he usually makes his decisions based on childish notions or just over-relies on his Delta Blasters. Jack also has the failing of jumping to closeminded conclusions despite previous evidence clearly contradicting his opinions.
