Heres the thing. Its honestly more of a sendup than a review. I'm going to be telling all the things I love about the movie. Its looney toons wackiness, its awesome kungfu, its hilarity. I'm reviewing the movie on the merits of the movie, not on other movies.

But I understand what you're saying, I just think I can review a movie for the merits of that movie, considering I LOVE THIS MOVIE...

I agree, trying to find a quick download of it just so you can write a review is pretty messed up. With people knowing that, what makes you think that they will actually read the review? Its obvious you aren't doing it because you are a fan, otherwise you probably would have owned it or watched it legally by now.

I did watch it legally, I watched it several several SEVERAL times when it came on STARZ, its the reason I wanted to do the review. The reason I don't own it is because I can never find it, and I dont have any way to buy it online.

If you dont want to watch a review simply because I decided to get a downloaded copy which will be easier for me to cut and mess with, then I'm sorry for you, but that doesnt mean I'm not going to do it.

Not very much it seems. I mean if you are pirating a movie you love rather than spending a few bucks to buy it... That isn't really love. I just hope no one on these forums is helping you pirate it.

He does have a point though. Even though everyone here pirates tokusatsu and whatnot, its mostly cuz its not officially released here in the states with subs. the ones that are, a lot of people have bought, like Masked Rider The First. In this case, there are a lot of places that it can be found. Just gotta look.

I bought KR the first. I try to buy whenever I can,. But I'm only keeping this so I can cut the footage for the review. Once its done I'm gonna be deleting it. It just takes up too much space on a computer where I dont have much space to begin with...

Yup. I buy any and all US releases of anime and toku I like. Hell I buy R2's of Toku series I like.. I love my JAKQ, CarRanger, etc etc R2's

And you still missed the point that me and Fangire Queen brought up, if you can't afford $2 shouldn't you be doing something else instead of making a review?

That is the shittiest example I've ever heard anyone make.
You have no idea the circumstances for me leaving and moving to California, but suffice it to say I couldn't bring ANY of my movies with me. So even if I HAD Kungfu Hustle, I wouldnt have been able to bring it with me.

Maybe I misspoke. I can buy the movie, as in I have the money. But I havent been able to find it. Just because its so plentiful in YOUR area, doesnt mean it is in mine. And I can't get it online because I don't have any way to buy it.

Like I said, I only want it for the footage, and I don't plan on keeping it. Hell I dont even keep the movies I do on my own computer. I just dont have the space.
