Limewire is "shutting down"

[HIDE]Legal Notice

This is an official notice that LimeWire is under a court-ordered injunction to stop distributing and supporting its file-sharing software. Downloading or sharing copyrighted content without authorization is illegal.[/HIDE]

At least it sucks and FrostWire is better.

People still use LimeWire?

Really. :sly:

And this is gonna do **** to piracy, there's still a million file sharing services and of course the Pirate Bay -- whose newest plan is to launch a server into space where there is no jurisdiction.

I think we're safe.

Unless what happened in Denmark will spread.

I'd need a proxy to enter Pirate Bay now. Since my Internet provider shut down all access to the site.

Actually, that site is down few hours ago due to outage.

Used game and movie stores are hurting the movie/game industry more than pirating.
No one makes money when they pirate, but the stores selling the used movies/games make money by buying used movies for law prices, thern selling them with a 1/2% increase. CHeaper than brand new but more expensive than they bought them for.

ROFL...........I finally have a reason to uninstall the bitch now. I haven't used Limewire since 2006 and it has been sitting in my PC's hard drive for the past 4 years.
