I can't remember the name of his character, but he was a student at the same high school the Megarangers attended. I think he showed up in the second half of the series.

Can someone clarify the Burai/Geki storyline for me. I've read around about it but some stuff ain't making sense.

Burai & Geki's father was the Black Knight right?
why did he fight the Yamoto King? Wouldn't Burai & Geki's father ben the Yamoto King?.

Why was Geki taken away?.

Someone please help.

Burai and Geki were the children of the evil Black Knight, and Geki was adopted by the rulers of the Yamato tribe because they had no heir. The Black Knight later revolted against the Yamato Tribe and was killed by the Yamato King, but told Brai to grow up to avenge his honor. Hence Burai's reason for wanting to kill Geki.

His character wasnt a wimp and in Megaranger he was the one who was acttracted to Miku same with his fat friend. They conned her of her diary for a one-night stand. She rejected. They comeback in early 98 and again in feb. i think it was because the school knew who the mega's were and dint want them around. Anybody remember that anbnoying girl who Kouichirou thought liked him? Is that her ugly mug in the episode where Sato lost her voice?

Takumi Hashimoto (Boi) was pretty amazing with all the stuff he did in Zyu. I was kinda sorry his character in Megaranger was such a wimp, though. Ah, well.

Yeah, I liked Boi. I usually hate those really young characters, but when the actors aren't bad or know martial arts (or, in Hashimoto's case, gymnastics), it makes up for it. I'm still really bothered how tall and fat he gets in-suit, though. :laugh: Hirofumi Ishigaki not losing his Yellow Owl weight.

And it was disappointing for him to be such a useless character in Megaranger. I find that happens a lot in tokusatsu when a former hero shows up in a regular, non-hero role. I remember being really disappointed as a kid when Change Griffen was the jokey/wuss/dumb-ass buddy in Metalder, after seeing him kick-ass in Changeman.

Does Burai's actor know any martial arts?.

Not to my knowledge. Here's a useless bit of info -- Shirou Izumi was a kendo champ in high school.
