That's something I don't understand about tokusatsu nowadays. When the actors couldn't do a stunt or fight, they'd use a stand-in -- why don't they at least do that, anymore? If you're hiring anorexic models that can't fight, fine, just give us some stand-in/fake Shemp fightin' in place of it!"
-Yeah that is what I meant. I noticed that with Goushi in the Dora Knight episodes. One minute he had short hair and then while doing the kicks he had longer silkier hair. Does Burai's actor know any martial arts?.
I agree. Civilian form fight scenes are whats missing in today's Tokusatsu. I am totally loving Geki getting slashed with swords and everything while not as Tyrannoranger. So much more entertaining haha.
"I respectfully disagree. To me, the only thing Zyu got over Deka is the nostalgic feeling that I get because of MMPR. The suits and mecha kicked ass but I find it hard to watch certain eps of Zyu. I guess the lack of subs is a contributing factor there. *shrugs*"
