Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters confirmed for 1/18/14!

I watched the movie yesterday, it's really good. Action scenes were amazing.
If anyone's wondering, the suit-only Zyurangers and Abarangers get to talk more than just stock lines, their personalities are noticeable.
Yes the Go-busters are an afterthought, but that's hardly surprising. Remember how the Gokaigers and Go-Busters fought separetely in the end of their movie? It's worse this time, the Go-Busters fight the Deboss elsewhere to help the Kyoryugers but are literally forgotten when the plot is resolved and the main dish kicks in. Everything they do is to buy time while the dinos get the plot.

There are some team interaction before that like Hiromu being an unlikeable prick for no reason to Daigo but nothing out of the ordinary. The most memorable inrecations are between Daigo and Gabutyra.

Tokkyuger got a better fight than the Go-Busters. Tokkyu 1 sounds like an airhead Red, like a male Umeko. He says they are not a Sentai and is embarrassed when Tokkyu 2 corrects him.

Luffy wouldn't act embarrassed when someone corrects him though, mostly just go "Oh okay" and move on. (Come to think of it, I actually can't recall the last time I've seen Luffy embarrassed over anything).

Gross in yens was ¥133,940,360... which places it a bit behind the Go-Busters vs Gokaiger movie (¥142,402,471).

Just came back from watching the movie.

Amazing movie, the action was very well paced and the story, while cliche as always didn't go 100% for the "heroes gone bad" kind of deal.

The Go-Busters were SO. FREAKING. AWESOME in this movie. I am a huge fan of the series and I liked how they got a proper treatment being the ones that basically drive the story forwards. I also like that they didn't put the Busters with the Dino Sentais, but their separate fight had implications in the main one.

Enter and Escape were also pretty good, at one point I thought they were the main villains of the movie (well... the technology to bring the big baddy was Vaglass so...) and I'm glad Enter even got to Morph into Dark Red Buster to fight the Kyoryuger. And having to say goodbye to Jin a second time was harsh.

The interactions between both sides were great, from Nossan and Ryuji telling old man jokes to Hiromu remembering when he first met Daigo in "Gokai vs. Go-Bus" to Yayoi going all Nakamura with the "3... 2... 1... Kimasu" to Hiromu almost having a heart attack seeing Torin.

The sempai Sentai were also great even though their participation was kinda short. This one might be the best Sentai movie I've ever seen.

Was the saying goodbye to Beet Buster really tragic? The only scene in a tokusatsu at which I have ever cried is when AbareKiller has to leave at the end of Dekaranger Vs Abaranger ...
