So, in the fifth week, which likely is the last ranked one, Kyoryuger vs Go-Busters hit ¥392,497,580. That puts it behind all Gokaiger Vs movies and also Shinkenger vs Go-onger. It still beat Gosei vs Shinken though.

HA! Can't blame this one on Go-Busters! They were barley even in the movie!

DVD is out today, right?

Yes they are, or at least the rentals are. So we should be getting raws in the next few days.

Well, got around to watching Kyoryuger VS Go-Busters and I liked it for sure.

Interaction between the Go-Busters and Kyoryuger was really good, though brief. Interesting how they kept it in the vain of a traditional VS movie in the start, but then went off and split the two main teams and had them doing different things. Created interesting pacing. Loved the out of suit fights and it's always nice to see GB back, though I was disappointed with how little Jin was in it. Also was happy to see Dark Buster kick some ass. And of course, wonderful scene with Torin and Hiromu. Cool that they directly mentioned Go-Busters VS Gokaiger.

Having Geki and Ryoga as pretty major characters helped a lot as well. The whole story with the "Dino Hope" made sense, connected the three dino Sentai's in some way other than theme. Always thought it would be cool to see the Kyoryugers interact with their Dino buds, which they do in full here.

Other than the action and service to all fans of these Sentai, movie was typical Sakamoto. Good action, but SO much time wasted on showing all 5 separate shots of Kyoryugers beating up an enemy in slow-mo. It happened so many times that it got tiring. Also, they totally could have had the other 4 Zyurangers appear in person. Come on!

Regardless, the final Kyoryu Daikessen was amazing and I love that they combined all the weapons into one Kyoryu Buster. Abaranger going into Abare mode was awesome, Zyuranger's finisher was nice to see with modern effect. Mech fight... blegh, but I chuckled at Tategami Raiden Kyoryujin. Good pun.

ToQger at the end was probably a good idea, since it was more of a bonus than a distraction. Glad they changed the effects for the final show.

Overall, I liked the movie and I'd like to see more Sentai VS done like this (not all of them, but maybe one or two that share themes). See ya Go-Busters, guess we'll see more Kyoryuger in May.
