Hi All, It has come to my attention that shooting for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight will start production on July 11th and will be shooting from Wednesdays to Sunday for approx. 2 months.

Yeah, I saw that mentioned in a bulletin from Steve Wang's myspace.

I don't think they're filming the entire series right away. I remember Aftershock or someone else mentioning that the production would most likely only be filming the first 12-13 episodes. With a chance to produce more later. But that they were only paid for so many episodes. You can't expect a company to just put all their eggs in one basket and order all 40 episodes immediately. (PR can because it's already established as a money maker)
