Even a year after the show's run in Japan, though the Figmas are still continue to be released, it seems Dragon Knight still has left a mark on the Kamen Rider franchise as a whole.

Apparently this is from a part of the "Onegai! Ranking Special" from TV-Asahi, basically examining various aspects of the 40 year franchise according to popular request (for example other topics included Ultraman vs Kamen Rider, Riders without a pose [from very early in the original series], and "Rider hotties"). It is interesting to see KRDK still get a nod as a "proper American Kamen Rider production" (from what I can infer, one of the keywords throughout the snippet appears to be "respect"). Shame it gets rendered as "Doragon Knight" a few times in the subtitles.

Can anyone who has a better grasp of the language, tell me what the jist of what was discussed/commented on in the clip? I can easily catch the reference to the "'hollywood' budget" which was heavily commented on in the Japanese media when it first premiered, but that's as far as could tell with some form of accuracy.

Also as a bonus, I found another, rather well made MAD, a few still seem to crop up occasionally from time to time for the show nearly 2 years hence, this one using music from SURARA Angels (I think).

Good thing that Dragon Knight was featured on the TV Special. The fact is that it doesn't have a "Hollywood budget." It was Toei who financed the project.
