KR Dragon Knight - Steve Wang Apparently Has a Ph. D in RULE!

Hmm, maybe Dragon Man (or whatever it was called) might not be the same travesty that Saban's Masked Rider was. But til then, and until I see some footages, pictures, etc, my excitement will remain low.

So, a tiny bit OT: Is The Guyver 2 really that good? I mean, the short little clips looked cool, but is the rest of the movie really that good? I just downloaded it last night to watch, but I'm not sure what to expect.

Did you guys see the first post in this thread and the video clip?

This show is in damn good hands.

See I don't get that at all. Wire-fu would make even more sense in a Kamen Rider show because the characters are *supposed* to have super-powered combat ability.

But I wouldn't want them to lean on it too much at the total sacrfice of hand to hand stuff.

So this guy is going to be the director for Dragon Knight? Sounds promising if he can live up to the hype and if he's allowed to do his stuff his way (i.e. without being bound by red tape and censors and ****).

Between the two Guyver movies, Guyver 2 is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the first one. G2 had a darker, more serious storyline and feel to it. The first movie was too hokey,
(I mean, c'mon, Jimmy Walker as a zoanoid? :redface2: *pfft*)
and was just trying to ride on the backs of it's more famous cast members to try and give it some credibility. However, nothing could protect it from it's lameness. To be honest, you don't really need to watch the first one to begin with. The storyline in G2 doesn't link much to the events of the first movie, so you can skip the first one and watch G2 with no worries.

I'll reserve judgement until I actually see a plot and a script worth getting interested over. You can have the greatest fight choreography on Earth, but it means nothing without plot and substance to bring it all together.
