Keibuho Yabe Kenzo was always full of pop culture references, as was the thing it originated from in Trick. Namase Katsuhisa is hilarious and the tongue in cheek references to toku are great. A definite watch for anyone.

Heh, Trick's last movie had a Den-O reference (Takeru Sato was in it) that wasn't so subtle :laugh:

It's the same show, earlier episode though. The show is full of Rider references, even a Hurricaneger reference at one point. Ryosuke Miura's character is pretty much Ankh+Shingo. When he's killed he drops a bunch coins, with 3 coins shaped like the OOO logo in his hand and as he dies he actually says "Core... Cell". His right arm starts to move after he's dead too.

And he always throws the coins and catches the same way Eiji does. Not to mention the first shot of him is his arm. :laugh:

Also the scene where Suga strikes the Ryuki pose and attempts to jump into the mirror. Damn this show is hilarious!

While Sato's character was running away from the villain in some sort of brush/light forest, the villain suddenly appeared in front of him, screaming "Ore Sanjou", causing Sato's character to crash into him.

Only thing that could've made it more blatant was if Sato ended up possessed by the villain.

I was looking forward to that since it'll go like Eiji vs Ankh! Now Haruto vs Fueki!

I fear Koyomi will die.
