Kamen Rider Wizard EP 47 - "Wiseman's Revelations"

EHHHH!!!! Sora is amazing~ He has great plans that have almost worked; he is bar far the smartest of any Phantom.

What great plans? He's incredibly annoying, he doesn't at all look or act believable as a serial killer (as opposed to Asakura/Ouja in Ryuki), and his wardrobe is horrible. Who the hell is supposed to find him intimidating or threatening? Zu Gooma Gu was even more interesting than this guy, and half the time we didn't even know what he or the other Grongi were saying. (It also helped that they all looked creepy and dangerous, not some pretty street dancer in hipster-ish garb. Maybe Gremlin should appear in Gaim!)

Do they look like you fanboy preconceived notion of a serial killer? Sora has had very good plans and is creepy as all get out. He is terrifying partly because of how innocuous and foppish he seems. The fact that he isn't in black leather eating puppies and raping women doesn't mean he isn't a scary threat. Why should Gremlin's human form LOOK intimidating when he transforms into a monster that can seemingly warp space or time giving him a creepy whack-a-mole skill he'll use to toy with you until he kills you with his giant scissors.

You must be easily creeped out then.

Just because he's supposed to be a scary threat doesn't mean the show does a good job showing it. Asakura could probably pass for "prettyboy" too, but Takeshi Hagino can play the part well. Sora's actor is just stupid to look at and a chore to get through because he tries and fails to be intimidating.

Like every other "villain" in Wizard, He is completely useless, does nothing for the story, and will just be a monumental waste of time like every other character.

Are you sure you're not talking about Yuusuke from Decade? I kid, I kid. But seriously. The only thing he did was just show Nitoh, Rinko, and Mayu Wiseman's hideout. And then White Wizard showed up. Which Sora didn't even think that WW would even show up.

Hello "KingRanger"~

Who released Legion and made it so that Osamu was able to take the Beast Driver? That is correct, SORA!!!! Aside from that, he does know how to get multitudes of Gates at one spot! His plan with Bogy almost worked! He is one of the causes of Phoenix's death. He is very knowledgeable about every Phantom! He also gave Koyomi the the yellow Magic Stone. So, to recap, he makes devious plans, he is directly responsible for the death of a villain, he directly contributed to the power-up arcs and he is the resident expert on Phantoms!

Later "KingRanger!~

Wizard's story and plot have been extremely thin, but writers have used him to make things happen in the story. Like Slashing Beast said, Sora got Phoenix killed so he could get closer to Wiseman and figure out WTH is going on. He has been an audience proxy wondering what is THE PLOT and he has pushed things to discover that. He has assembled scraps of information such as 1) he and Wiseman are similar with the whole human heart/maintaining humanity thing 2) the Philosopher's Stone can turn Phantoms human 3) Wiseman needs Mana, NOT Phantoms for the Sabbat and 4) he has figured out that Koyomi is the Philosopher's Stone or very much connected to it.

When Beast got Hyper Sora watched and wondered if Wiseman might somehow be like Chimera and need Mana, which seeded the idea early, which is good.

I'm not saying the show is good, but Sora is one of the most interesting parts to me. He has been seriously sidelined in the last few episodes, so it will be interesting to see how he is dealt with for the end.
