Kamen Rider Wizard, Ep 1 - "The Wizard Uses Rings"

. Yay for police people but, I don't get why there was no Op sequence. I usually assume it's to not spoil stuff ala Faiz or Abaranger but, we blatantly saw Haruto transform so, *shrugs*.

There is reason other than a direction choice. This same Director did it for Shinkenger. It's just a way to put you in the action right away.

The best 5 minutes I've seen for a Rider Series in about 5 years probably. HOLY **** THIS ROCKS!:buttrock::buttrock::buttrock: I'M WATCHING A PROPER RIDER SERIES!!! NO MORE FRIENDSHIP! FCUK YEAH!

btw that Connect ring and the bike dropping out of nowhere was funny.

The episode was interesting but I think you're going a bit too far lol


IMO the episode wasn't as exciting as the first episodes of the past few series but it was overall really solid. It has its silly moments(and they were really silly) and the fight scenes were pretty good.

A lot of the things that happened in this episode reminded me of things I've seen in other rider shows but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I haven't formed an opinion on the characters yet but they are alright I guess.

I can see the belt being very annoying for the first few episodes lol

The pre-release stuff showed him menacing Shunpei, so he should get more screen time soon. Get to it, Toei!

i though the opening was similar to shinkenger in a way, and i really liked it. the opening song is great as well, but i'll have to see how good it really is when it matches with the opening credits next week.

- Awesome special effects? Fantastic!

- Swag? A'plenty!

- No opening credits for first episode? Exciting!

- Opening Song = Wonderful and catchy.

- Being able to pick up your donuts from anywhere? Hilarious.

- Changing forms, traveling to the past, riding dragons; all in a Rider's job.

- Excellent premiere.

I love that this show is made by the same guys from both Shinkenger and Gokaiger, because this show oozes everything that made those shows exciting and fun to watch.

I wonder how much of the show's budget was blown on this episode alone though. That was a lot.

Now THAT'S what a first episode should be! No slapstick or comedic moments going around. Just plot, action, plot, action, MORE action, and then plot. Man, I haven't been this synch for the second episode since....ever!

Wizard, don't let your magic lose it's touch.
