Shouldn't the light be red, yellow, yellow when Eiji transforms into TakaToraTa?

Yeah, did they forgot to switch the color from green to yellow?

Is it meant to be humorous?

I doubt it. I didn't imply that anyway.

Or is it meant to help the children remember how many medals Eiji has every week. I've seen people in this thread forget which specific medals he has. Once Eiji gets like 16 or 20 Cores, it would be difficult to keep track of each one all the time.

I don't mind that Medal screenshot being there. But having the announcer actually go "Count the Medals kids!" as though this is some kindergarten math class... even Sazer X didn't do that for the Cosmo Capsules and it had bobbleheads dancing on screen!

Standard weapons don't work so I don't see the point of making more of something that would make the kaijin just simply flinch.

It's a private army, so it only makes sense. But it seems that if the common grunts are too efficient in their job, the fans say that makes the actual Rider pointless. Yet if the grunts always fail, they'll say that makes them pointless (See Kabuto).

I notice you keep pushing the Medaljalibur as something that should be mass-produced and there's no point to that considering it's full power only works with the Cell Medals and O Scanner combined.

Only because the toy is designed that way. I doubt these toys were made before the storyline was written, but anyway, you could easily design it another way. Turn a lever on the sword to activate the Medals or something.

When it's his turn. Everybody's getting a second round here though not in the same order of the first eight episodes.

What else is there? Ocelots, cougars, lynxes...

I really don't see a problem with this....It's just a line the announcer uses to catch your attention to the screen. There's nothing really wrong with this at all.

Well if you want something normal people can use I guess thats why Birth exists.

Like I said, it makes the show seem sillier. At least there isn't anything like "Let's count them all together now! 1... 2....3...4...." >.>

But...it's a show aimed at those of a younger age including Kindergartners. And it involves collecting things. Is that so wrong? It's just a simple tagline.

Well, in this case, they can't be efficient at all because conventional weapons don't work. Unlike in Kabuto where they actually did work. Infrequently, but they did work so it's not an apt comparison.

But then you'd be wondering if he can scan the Core Medals, why can't he scan the Cell Medals. And you can't fault the toy for doing something you don't like.

OOO didn't have the Medajalibur to fight the Mantis Yuumy in the first episode.

Also a small point, but it's worth remembering that what sounds like wacky Engrish to us doesn't sound wacky to people who don't speak it English natively.

It's like when you're first getting into anime and you write a story where all your characters randomly throw out pidgin Japanese phrases, and you think it sounds OMGSOBADASS. And then you look back at it after you've been studying the language for five years and realize how dumb it sounds.

I didn't see Blade asking the audience to count up how many cards Kenzaki and Co. had so far. I'm not saying this one thing makes the whole show terrible. Just that it and the forced attempts at humor are things I can do without and in any case aren't really needed.

ZECTroopers actually killed Worms? When? All I saw were people complaining about how useless they were.

But then you'd be wondering if he can scan the Core Medals, why can't he scan the Cell Medals.

No, because the show has a reason for it. Cells are just food, while Cores are the real crown jewels. I'm not against the toys having their own unique features that aren't demonstrated on the show.

And you can't fault the toy for doing something you don't like.

You're right. I can fault Bandai >>
