I think plot hole works actually, but it is a nice thought; Kougami and the RideVendors have been faking their reliance on also putting Cell Medals into their devices in order to get Ankh and Eiji to start doing it, while in actuality Gotou can just activate any piece of equipment with the push of a button :eyebrow:

Yeah, I mean they could just be emptying out the Venders later on but the first time Ankh saw a cell medal going into one he said stop "wasting" them but he wouldn't know if there still inside it or not.

Unless the bikes being made to run on cell medals were just a ploy to trick Ankh into agreeing to the 60% deal all along! GENIUS!!

Yeah but then 70% is really a kick in the balls. But I don't really see the point. Even if they take the cells he's still a freaking hand. I'd be focusing on the Cores.

Only 60% was decided at the end....

Also they still need to use cell medals to activate the vending machines/bikes.... Kougami just has a backdoor to it. Now, the sword is different as it actually uses the cell medals as part of the scanning charge slash..

i think the way it works is.. gotou can use the ridevendor for free. since he's a trusted employee. while ooos on the other hand has to pay. i dont necessarily think its JUST a way to steal coins. but actually needs coins inserted to get it to work. what im saying is that gotou is like one of those people who fill vending machines so they have a "key" to open it.

I think its simply Kougami wants the medals. Every single one he can get his hands on, so any medals used in the Ridevendors are almost certainly collected at a later point. Kougami's ripping them off, simply as that.

He's a greeed I tells ya! He's the reptile greeed, he was never sealed and now he's using Ankh and Ooo to collect medals so he can be the top greeed! He's a greeed! Greeeeeeeeed!

I bet Kougami's using the Cells for either another Rider or a Greed form. He has to need them for something.

If he was a Greed in disguise, it would make sense as to how he knows everything about them and how the gear seems to mimic them as well.
