Kamen Rider OOO - Talk Up!

Oh I thought you only saw a few episodes. If you saw the whole thing I can't argue with that.

Still surprising....

I'll write something longer and link you to it later.

Catering to lots of different people is why I think it's awesome that Toei just completely changes up Rider every year. So if you didn't like last year's show there's always next year. And if you don't like this year... well, wait long enough and Toei will eventually make something else you like. Even if you had to wait about ten years like I did!

* Now a fair response here is "Why bother saying you're dropping it if you're not trolling the fans who didn't?" Good response. In my case, it's so I'm not solicited for an opinion about OOO in other forum-related places like other threads, IM, podcast, etc. I dislike having to tell someone to their face that I think their baby is ugly, more or less.

I totally understand this point of view. (I also invite you to take another look in, say, December, when there's more than a foot in the door. I hope OOO doesn't disappoint me in December like Double did.)

I also remember getting flamed back in the Double thread for having an opinion that dissented with the majority.

Comics burned that streak out of me long ago.

I still haven't watched more than 2 episodes of Voyager...

Everyone was dead. The end.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I personally didn't watch that series as I already had in inkling as to what the story was about.... Good thing that I was right... hehehehe.. If only NBC would bring back Heroes...

^^Oh, I already knew that but I should finish it anyway. I knew Ryuki and Kuuga's endings way before I watched them (thank you internet)

People are still like that lately (though it has calmed down a bit) like I swear to god if you say you don't like Kuuga, you will die or like, if you don't like Showa Rider or Sentai, you will be flamed to high heck and back.

Sometimes, I reminisce of when I watched toku and anime in my little vacuum. Far away from the wonder of the interwebz and forums.

I think a lot of people take it as a personal insult if you don't like what they like, and act accordingly. Unfortunately.

I like this thread... Just like the KR shows... it's full of ups and downs.... twists and turns... Drama and action...

I'm just going to watch it and enjoy it as much as I can. If I find myself getting bored with the series, then I'll just do something else. I'm not tied to it... I have a life afterall...

It was weird enough that it could only end in a few ways.

Ryuki's ending would have been shocking to those who didn't see what the ending was. I thought so when [HIDE]Shinji got killed.[/HIDE]

Showa Riders are the basis of all Heisei Riders. If you like Heisei, it was possible because of Showa. There are some places not to go when you don't like Rider and Sentai.

I think it's because sometimes when people don't like something, they can be total dicks about it. This can actually go both ways though.
