Kamen Rider OOO - Talk Up!

I like the Greeds very much. The main 4. I'm still wondering if they're special in anyway, because they started off as Greed instead of Yummy's. Like Checkmate Four, or Lucky Clover. Maybe there OOO's versions of the Museum Generals.

Haha, we're hearing so many different things, Den-O vibes? No. Just...no. Kuuga? Fer Shure. I hope they give an explanation on the driver itself.

Loved it. Was expecting to be disappointed. The style, the humor, the feel, is different to me than the series has been over the past few years. I feel like the FX dept. got better, or a larger budget too. Fight sequence even looked better than I was expecting. My hopes are up.

I'm more inclined towards a more "strange villain" approach to the Greeeds, considering this is Kobayashi, not the typical "I'll write a group of main four villains" Inoue.

Wathced it today

-There's parts of the opening that I like and some that I know is filler but it just doesn't really flow with me. Ankh spazzing out doesn't really help wither

-There's quite a bit of gimmickness this time around. Cake addicted boss, Eiji, super strength girl, cosplay cafe, color banners when the Greeds talk or appear. It's kind of annoying that way

-I know Lynxara pointed this out earlier but the Yummys just feel hollow to me. Maybe I'm too used to W or Kiva but it's like "Kill it to save people" but that's it. Maybe it'll get better later like they'll have to figure out what the desire is beforehand or someone tries to stop the yummy they created but so far it just seems like all the fights will be like this and then I won't really be able to get behind the fights.

-I would want the city to have a name, but then again it isn't something important to any of the characters so I guess that slides.

I finished it like not even an hour aftger I got out of seeing Scott Pilgrim and I dont know if its because of that but these two seem very similar in a few ways. The big one is the money raining down when he kills a kaijin. And no, I refuse to call them Yummies or whatever. I'm sticking with Greed or Kaijin for now.

Anywya, Eiji seems like a pretty cool guy. He reminds me a bit of Godai (Another series I've been watching) and I like his "Live in the moment" attitude.

It looks like this series might be a bit more whimsical and tongue-in-cheek than W was, but I think it might turn out for the better. It honestly does feel a bit theatrical to me. At least so far it feels like it knows its a show, and its going to make the best of that fact.

I thought the whole Greed putting a coin into a slot on someone's head was a little...stupid...I dont really like the idea so far, but I do like how it causes that persons emotions and desires to rise up as this living thing, stuffing itself on their wants until it...molts? The design of Greed is REEEALLY good. I was a little bit surprised to see how disturbing the Mantis Kaijin looked when it molted.

I do have some questions though. How does Eiji have a core medal of the Mantis, but he's fighting the mantis? How do they have bodies if they don't have their own core medals. How do the core medals even exist? Ah well, I'm sure we'll get some explanation soon? Maybe?

for some reason i get this feeling that W was like all Showa series put together, while OOO will be all Heisei series feel... just my two cents

The head slot thing was a bit weird too, I was hoping for something more gruesome, but its a kids show.
