I'm guessing he created the buffalo Yummy from himself (put a cell medal in his own forehead and everything) because of his own desire to see more stuff smash into people. Might explain why Mezuru/Mezool told him he'd been using up his medals too quickly back in episode 3, maybe he gets less medals in return for his Yummies or something.
