Kamen Rider OOO - Talk Up!

I do remember you saying it was the last Kamen Rider series you really liked up until like, Double. Which do you prefer?

I really was into Ryuki at the start of the show, the first half. If I like a show enough to buy some toys, I really like it, and I had Ryuki merchandise. Ryuki ended up being such a frustrating, disappointing letdown that it kind of tainted the episodes I had enjoyed, though.

I enjoyed Double, and it is the first entry of the Rider franchise that I've enjoyed since Ryuki, but I never really got into the show as much as I had been into Ryuki when it aired. I still feel like it's missing some of those "Kamen Rider-y" ingredients.

I couldn't imagine watching a show that I didn't enjoy for 8 years in a row.

How the hell does one force themselves to watch shows they dislike for that long?. I'd go nuts.

Which is why I ended up ditching a lot of Rider shows, and going back to finish them whenever I felt like it. I like Kamen Rider, I don't want it to suck.

I quit shows like Kabuto, and had no intention of finishing it, but did so after people said it got "good" in the later half. (Those people were wrong.) I had no intention of finishing shows like Den-O or Kiva, but mistakenly thought I should before Decade started. (Remember when people thought Decade was going to matter in the end?)

Cripes, you've seen enough tokusatsu to know how many bad shows are out there, yet you still watched 'em. You used to always lecture people about how "easy" tokusatsu shows are to watch -- even if they suck -- because they're just 25 minutes a week. If Kamen Rider shows were like American shows and ran, like, four seasons at 22 episodes a season -- yeah, I probably wouldn't watch all of those shows. Make up your mind! :loltongue:
