Yeah, but Agito is still considered organic. If he isn't, then Kuuga wouldn't be organic since they both transform the same way, just that you don't see the light changing Shouichi's body.

Shouichi does not metamorphose into Agito so his powers are mystic-based.

Huh... yes, he does. Just look at the brief transformation of that minor female Agito later. Agito isn't supposed to be some kind of armor on Shouichi, it is Shouichi. Now, of course, the design doesn't convey that idea well at all.

The external design and transformation effects are the only reason Agito gets lumped together with Kuuga as "Mystic Rider".

I've always considered the design and effects to be the identifying factors of Rider type. Although, for me, organic Riders (or Mutation Riders, as I call them) are identified not just by organically changing, but also by more animalistic designs, weapons, and temperaments.

So the Mutation Rider club only consists of Amazon, Shin, and Gills. It's VERY exclusive
