The Dinosaur is called "Giru" which comes from "裏切る-Uragiru" as in to betray.

Im guessin Giru betrayed the other Greeeds and thats why we havent heard of him(or her) now

But weren't the rest of the Greed surprised when they heard that Ankh betrayed them in the first episode? I'm not sure they would have been that surprised if it had occurred before.

well they were in that box for 300 years, they could have forgotten about him(or her)

or it could be that the Greeeds didn't know Giru's existence because he is an ancestor of the Greeeds, considering that it is a "dinosaur."

No they were surprised that he screwed them back after they apparently did something that caused him to lose all his medals.
