Someone suggested that the pure forms will be OOO's achilles heel.

Tatoba's kick is more than likely going to use his "Grasshopper legs" that you see in the toy. Till you see that, don't expect a Rider Kick.

It's the same deal as Blade and Faiz. They both had "kicks" starting out, but they weren't exactly their signature Rider kick.

I think we wont see the kick until he gets the full bug form. Hopefully all the mixed forms wont have a special attack and they'll just do that glowing thing we've seen.

Faiz had the Crimson Smash... It was not called a "rider kick"... Kabuto did call it that way...

Faiz's Crimson Smash is his rider kick, but in the first episode he destroys the Stingfish Orphenoch (think that's his name), with a regular kick, sort of Kuuga style. Then he gets coached by Mari to use the Phone to power up the kick.

Likewise, Blade's normal Kick was Kick Locust, and it might never have been used on its own. It was always used with Thunder Deer, and then later, Kick, Thunder and Mach were used together for a more powerful kick.

I think with Geki they went with a penguin in order to keep with the puns in the names of the Kensei. Michelle King = Michelle Peng.

Otherwise, I agree with you. The penguin wasn't really my favorite...

I thought he beat the one in ep1 with a regular punch? I know Mari helped him set up the kick in ep2 but, I rememeber seeing him punch the first one and thinking "Really? It was that weak?"

Its a regular kick, he still did his 'kneel and wait' move before the kick, there are just no lasers

Overall I liked the first episode. I hope that Eiji takes more odd jobs throughout the show.
