Technically, there was a rider kick...it just wasn't a finisher. He powered up and everything.

As to the numerous animals, I think its possible that a lot of them are going to be toy only, with about three medals in show per greed

But it wasn't a finisher. I think it wasn't. Wouldn't the belt of said "Scanning Charge!" before his real finisher?

Episode 2 is when we typically end the first mini-arc and our first Rider Kick, people.

Hell, we didn't have Kuuga do a rider kick since episode 12. Reasonable, considering that he had to invent his own, instead of just randomly knowing how to rider kick. All of the "rider kicks" he's done till then are just abriged rider kicks.
