Kain

Lurker
Alan Geist, once a normal young man with an interest in all things automotive, now one of a handful of people who have had their lives permanently altered with the discovery of latent abilities that had laid dormant all their lives. As of now none of them had encountered one another but because of their unique abilities fate was gradually leading them to one another so that they may fight alongside each other again humanity's predator, the Garoh.

It was late at night and the streets were complete soaked due to pouring rain outside, it was a time when someone would have to be crazy to even consider going outside. Which is why Alan was quite conspicuous as he seemed to be casually walking around out there as his eyes wandered around apparently looking for something. Unlike normal people, and even the others that possesed similar powers he had several unique abilities that allowed him to sense and track the beasts that fed on humanity, and it was at the moment that he was putting them to use. Even in this rain they have a distinctive scent... he thought silently as he sniffed the air and continued looking around for his target. Suddenly something that confused his sense occured, several other Garoh scents manifested in numerous different locations. Were they fakes? Or was a massive battle about to occur? Truthfully he didnt have a clue which was true, and niether possiblity seemed all that great for him either. He did have quite a bit of faith in his abilities as Beast though, and for now that was all that mattered to him right now.

He quickly ran into a dark alley, where he was safe from the wandering eyes of whatever other nutjobs may be out here. He took a deep breath as he began to focus on his other form, the form of Kamen Rider Beast before uttering the word. "Henshin" a word that meant transform in the Japanese language which he had used as a mental trigger of sorts to allow his transformation. Immdiately after saying it, the gold colored belt materialized around his waist as he was engulfed by a dim green aura, his entire physical makeup began to change as his skin took on a dark green shade and his dones altered themselves appropriately. Finally his entire body was transformed as a layer of exoskeleton covered his vital areas, and to finally top it all off his face took on a more beastly and insectoid shape before letting out a loud roar, signaling that his transformation was complete. Soon enough alan, now transformed into Kamen Rider Beast lunged out of that alley and commenced following one of the Garoh's scents.

Aiden had left the restaurant that he had just ate dinner at, and he had his umbrella raised above his head. As Aiden walked back to his apartment that he had started to rent out he thought," That vision on the plane what was its true meaning?" Aiden heard a man screaming in pain, and he said," Damn it." Running towards the sound Aiden looked, and saw a Garoh, and he saw the dead man on the side of the street, and he said," Hey you monster get away from the dead its not good luck if you disturb the dead you know that? That's why you ran into me." A fiery red aura surrounded Aiden, and flamed wrapped around his waist, and his belt formed. Aiden then said," For something like you to take a innocent's life you shall pay, so now lets see if you can take mine." The creature tried to run in, and attack Aiden, but he said," Transform." Flames engulfed Aiden, and the Garoh's arm went into the flames, and his arm stood still.

Aiden had changed into Kamen rider Blaze, and he grabbed the Garoh's arm, and Aiden kicked the Garoh's kneecap making it fall to the ground. Aiden then pressed back on the Garoh's back with his leg, and pulled on the Garoh's arm. Withing thirty seconds of pulling on the creatures arm Aiden had dislocated it. Still pulling Aiden said," You will die like the man you killed." Aiden pulled the Garoh's arm clean off it's shoulder, and it screamed in pain. Aiden saw a second one had now entered the fight. Aiden set the Garoh's arm on fire, and he said," Even though you haven't killed anyone.." Turning his head looking at the second Garoh he saw the fresh blood on it's mouth, and Aiden was now in a pissed off state, and he said," You bastards don't get it." Aiden then drew his blade from his belt, and said," I know you two think you are tough, but you are nothing in my eyes." The new coming Garoh spat acid on the first Garoh's arm cauterizing the wound. Aiden smirked, and said," Great they aren't mindless."

Not far from where Blaze was facing one of the Garoh, Beast was viciously fighting another Garoh which looked like a horrific fusion of a wolf, a spider and a human. Most Garoh tended to look like humanoid fusions of various creatures, which gave them a frightening appearance, and Garoh which resembled a fusion of more than two creatures tended to be rare while Garoh that resembled simple humanoid beasts were noticably weaker than others. Kamen Rider Beast fiercelly tackled the monstrous creature into a wall before two bone like tentacles extended from his wrists and wrapped around the creature's arms. He then forcefully yanked his arms backwars, causing the Garoh's arms to pop right off, much like the parts of cheap Korean toys found in 99 cent stores, before bashing it's head with it's own limbs before relasing his grip on them to go off and deal with one of the other Garoh.

He stopped when he saw the pair of Garoh and the figure that was apparently fighting them. It took him a second but he soon recognized that armor, it was one of the warriors that appeared in his flashbacks. While he didnt know much he could assume they were on the same side in this conflict. With that blade like bone extensions extended from both of his wrist's and his heels and he quickly leaped toward the two Garoh to give them thorough slicing.

Standing in the pouring rain, a warthog-faced Garoh was hiding just at the edge of an alleyway, looking around the corner toward a small store. Inside, there were three people, two waiting out the storm. There was also someone just working the night shift, currently passing the time by talking to the soaking wet couple who had been caught outside earlier. All three were laughing about whatever they were talking about.

The Garoh took a step forward, the rain masking the sound of wheels over pavement as Kayin skated up behind him. Just as the monster was about to head toward the store, it felt a hand on its shoulder.

“I don’t mind that you look like a pig, so as long as you don’t do anything stupid, you’ll be fine,†said Kayin. It responded by turning quickly to face him, throwing his hand off of its shoulder. It gave a wild swing, which Kayin dodged. “Suit yourself.â€

The Garoh attacked several times, all with similar results, and when Kayin kicked it in the face with one of its skates, it took a step back, holding its injured snout.

“You’re a lot weaker than the last one I fought, aren’t you?†asked Kayin. He kneed it in the stomach, then dodged another attack. Just then, he felt a sharp pain in his side and back and went flying into a bunch of garbage cans. Another Garoh, this one like an ogre out of a storybook, had come up behind him, with more stealth than one would expect from something of its size. The two Garoh seemed pleased with themselves, turning toward the store to go after those inside, assuming that Kayin wasn’t getting back up.

Over with the pile of overturned trash cans, a pair of great wings lifted up, then folded around Kayin. They burst apart, not as feathers but with a sound like quiet thunder, lightning coming off of the armored figure that was now getting back up.

A third Garoh, coming to join the others, jumped down from a rooftop toward Kamen Rider Storm, crying out to tell the first two that he was back up. Weak as the first, and even smaller and lighter, it was easily deflected by Storm’s arm.

“I guess the only one I really need to watch out for is the big guy there. This shouldn’t be too hard,†he said. He picked up a metal pole that had been in with the garbage, part of some broken piece of furniture perhaps, and the battle began again.

Andy walked around, looking for some trouble as he always does. "This is boring... I completed my homework too... Wonder why I did it though..." he said. Something struck him, and he saw an image of 3 Garoh's teaming up on a Rider. It was nearby. "Looks like trouble wanted me..." said Andy as he ran towards the scene. It wasn't far off. He reached the place and looked as the Rider was attacking one of the monsters. "Tch... Henshin!" shouted Andy as he crossed his right arm over to his left shoulder and a belt formed around his waist. He then brought his right hand down and used both his hands to hit the buttons on the sides of his belt. He starting burning. His body glowed cherry red. Armor materialized on him and he transformed into Diablo. He jumped up really high and landed next to the blue Rider. Diablo stood up and charged at the biggest monster first. "I'll get you next don't worry!" shouted Diablo towards the blue Rider. Diablo locked the waist of the monster from behind and threw him backwards. He then stood up and kicked the monster and let roll. Diablo jumped on it and started punching it's face. The monster kicked Diablo from behind and he lost grip on the monster. He stood up and was pushed backwards by the charging Garoh. "You asked for it!!" shouted Diablo as he reached his arms outwards and grabbed the Garoh's neck. He started to choke the monster and threw him off. A blinding light shined from Diablo's belt and a boomerang-like object formed in front of him and he grabbed it. The object changed it's shape and formed a two sided blade. Diablo slashed the Garoh and kicked it away. The monster flew away and fell into a pile of crates, breaking them. Diablo dropped his weapon and jumped in mid-air and spin. Both his legs burned with flame and he kicked the Garoh in the chest. It fell backwards and suddenly exploded. Diablo turned around to look at the blue Rider fighting the two monsters. Diablo roared and jumped at him, about to punch him...

To say that this wasn't a good day for Ikuma Kobayashi would be an understatement. Not only was he late for work and his ride wasn't going to pick him up, but he had to walk in the forsaken rain. Cursing this turn of events, he didn't even notice that he was being stalked from beneath the ground...until the Garoh decided to come up from beneath him, snapping it's mandibles at his leg.

Shouting in pain, Ikuma was able to wrest his leg free, though it tore pants leg, which of little concern now as he his fight or flight response kicked in...and he obviously chose flight. He was being attacked by something...but what? He had heard rumors of strange murders and killings going on...was this one of the culprits? Unfortunately for Ikuma, having not needed to walk this area on foot, he made a wrong turn and made it to a dead end alley.

Cursing once more with his leg still in pain from the gash caused by what happened earlier, Ikuma got a good look at his assailant. It was some kind of insect obviously, like some kind of hybrid of an ant and a mantis that walked like a man, having dominant traits of those insects. Wanting to defend himself, he picked up the nearest object -- a trash can lid -- and was going to use it as a makeshift shield. It was at this point that Ikuma felt a disturbing chill through the air as the monster sensed something else...

This something was a blonde haired woman as she entered the alleyway, her scarlet red eyes fixed on the monster. The monster seemed...wary of the girl's appearance, but swung one of it's mantis claws at the girl. Ikuma cried out to the woman to move, but she just stood there...and smirked. In one quick motion, she had moved past the claw meaning to skewer her and was behind the monster...with a piece of it's side in her hands. Ikuma didn't get a good look before the woman faced the monster once more and thus didn't see the change that had come to her eyes, which were now a haunting yellow color.

Bewildered, he swore he could hear crunching noises as the woman brought that hard piece of exoskeleton closer to her. The Mantis-Ant wasn't idle and attempted another attack...one that was met by deranged laughter from the woman. Getting under the claw again, she threw a punch at the creature's midsection. Upon landing it, green armor came across that arm. Another punch and the process repeated on the other arm. With each blow, Ikuma saw this strange woman change...and was getting the hint that he should leave...as soon as possible...

Storm had barely gotten started when Diablo joined in, and he rolled his eyes behind his mask, both at the other Rider’s attitude and the realization of how boring this fight would be. The ogre being the leader, he was the real challenge in this small group. The other two, having some understanding of their own strength, were rightfully afraid when their leader was hurled backwards so easily.

It was clear to the Pig Garoh and its remaining free partner, who seemed to be much like a flying squirrel, that they needed to work together to have any chance against Storm. The squirrel-like one circled around him, attacking from the back and meeting the defense of a swung pole. At the same time, the warthog charged into Storm, doing minimal damage as Storm rolled with the attack and kicked him off.

The warthog cried out in some strange squealing grunt about another maneuver, only to find himself alone, the end of a tail visible slipping into a nearby storm drain as the tiny thing ran for it. Storm didn’t make the attempt to chase after it, hoping it had learned a lesson. He glanced over at the other Rider, watching Diablo kick the ogre-like monster into some crates.

The warthog Garoh ran at him, thinking it had an opening to charge…until its skull collided with the firmly held metal pole. It took a few steps back from Storm, then shrieked as the ogre exploded. It was of the lowest group of Garoh, lacking even the maneuverability of its cowardly comrade. It hadn’t a chance. Then, suddenly, it’s face lit up.

Storm was surprised by the change in its expression, realizing just before he felt the punch collide with him. He rolled, continuing in the direction of the punch and ending up back on his feet, the damage somewhat minimized by how loose he was. He was now facing Diablo, the pole he used to fight with held up defensively.

“Not bad,†he told him. He then ran for him, looking as though he would make a frontal attack. That was until he vaulted over him. The moment his foot touched the ground, he was pushing off with all his might back the way he’d come, which was toward Diablo from the other side, attempting an elbow strike now.

In Kayin’s mind, it was simple enough. This man had helped him fight, but he didn’t seem to care about Storm’s reasons for it. If things were as they look, he just wanted to cause harm, whether to those monsters or to other people, like him. There wasn’t much to think about: He was an enemy.

Diablo kicked Storm as he tried to elbow him. Apparently the strike was a little to hard, Diablo was pushed back a few steps and Storm fell on the floor and quickly got up, resuming his stance. Storm was about to kick Diablo when he said "Enough for today man... This is boring... let's do this some other time...". Storm stopped his attack then. Diablo reverted back into Andy. Andy looked at Storm and smirked. "Now you know who I am. I hate needing to hide anything. Here's my card, if you want my contact. Of course I'm only 15, but hey, I do a good job at fixing motorbikes. Come to me anytime you want, but I warn you, in Rider state, you are my enemy, and so is everyone else. While we are normal, you could be even the best of my friend, but I will kill you if I see you in that form. I over confident of my strength, speed, and skills." said Andy and he threw his card towards Storm who caught it. Andy started to leave and he tied back a headband on his forehead...

Blaze wasn't using his sword, but using his left arm, and legs to attack the two Garohs. The Garohs he was fighting took the form of bat like creatures, and he said," If you two even want a chance to live then run now." Blaze said with a dark, and depressing voice. The two Garohs ran towards Blaze, and he took his sword, and swung it as hard as he could. The second Garoh jumped over Blaze, but the first was sliced in half, and was set on fire. Seeing how the one was still willing to fight Blaze said," I dare you to hit me once." The creature drew a blade from the side of his arm, and ran towards Blaze. Blaze stood still as the creature slashed him three times. The attacks from this Garoh were weak, and Blaze stood there smirking under his helmet. Blaze struck the Garoh in the chest with his sword, and it began to bleed from it's wound.

Blaze was getting bored, and so he said," I'm sorry, but let me show you the flames of hell for they will be showing you your way to the underworld." The sides of his sword's guard unfolded, and his blade was engulfed in flames. Blaze ran, and performed a downwards slash setting the Garoh on fire, and he stood there watching it burn to ash. Blaze's belt withdrew, and his body was set ablaze as he changed back to normal. Aiden was upset that he couldn't save another life, and he said," I have no idea why god would create such fiends, but as long as this power lives in me I will fight these creatures with my full strength." Aiden took his jacket, and placed it over the dead corpse, and he walked away under his umbrella, and back to his apartment.

Ikuma was stunned. Utterly stunned. What he had just witnessed was something very terrible. He had watched as the woman, if you could call her that now, transformed and proceeded to literally rip the Mantis-Ant to shreds, with pieces of it's exoskeleton becoming strewn across the alley. Some kind of fluid was leaking out of what was left of the monster's torso as well. Now, Ikuma wasn't a squeamish person, he was a huge fan of horror and slasher flicks. But this was just too much...sure, it was an insect, but the result was so violent.

As for the transformed woman, now in predominantly green armor with a frightening face and maw, she was snacking on monster as one would a sack of potato chips, popping exoskeleton pieces in her maw. He was so transfixed by what he had witnessed that he was still rooted to his spot, still holding that trash can lid, as if that would protect him now. Thankfully for him, it seemed that she hadn't noticed him at all. Like any sane person, he wanted to get the hell out of there.

Declaring that it was now or never, he bolted, hoping to get past the monster woman and out of the alley...but he didn't get far. In a flash, the monster woman was in front of him, ghastly face and all. Frozen with fear, he didn't budge, even when the woman did change back for some reason. She looked human again...save for those eyes, those haunting yellow eyes. He tried not to show fear in the face of this thing, but it didn't matter. With a swipe of the woman's hand, Ikuma felt some pain and then nothing as his head became detached from his shoulders.

Her razor sharp nails stained red now, the woman gave a sick smirk towards the sight, relishing it and imprinting it on her mind. Picking up what chunks of the Mantis-Ant that was left, the woman demonstrated more of her inhumanity as she scaled the wall of the alley to leave for the rooftops, doing nothing to cover up the carnage that she so gleefully wrought...
