Yep, it's like they're saying that their power is immeasurable and inconceivable, since being able to visually see what being an "ultimate" being is might be very debatable.

It's not every Kamen Rider ending that can come close to bringing me to tears. That was spectacular, and can safely say I haven't seen any Rider show quite like this one.

Actually, the last episode made me realize precisely what makes Kuuga feel different from the other Rider shows on a basic level. It's been more like a J-drama than a simple tokusatsu story; it felt fundamentally real and invested with genuine emotions. I feel like I know the characters and that I've watched them all evolve through the story.

Thumbs up to you, Godai, thumbs up for protecting everyone's smiles :thumbs:

I would even go as far to say that Kuuga is one of the greatest tokusatsu shows ever produced.

It's a spectacular human drama above all else.

So I'm watching Kuuga right now, and I'm on episode 47... but they keep talking about how Kuuga fought No. 0 and what not, and the preview from episode 46, where Kuuga is on the ground while 0 is stepping on him didn't appear in episode 47

is it like a type of flashforward or something? cause the 46.5 special didn't have said fight.
Can someone help me out cause I wanna watch that fight before watching 48

I've been watching Kuuga recently, in the late 30's, but I'm feeling that it is overrated by the fanbase so far. Just like Kamen Rider Black.

That fight was never shown anywhere. There are only the preview scenes and then the next episode already starts after Kuuga's defeat.

Wow that really sucks, considering how the final battle ended so rapidly I think that fight would have made things better.

Still it's a really good series, among my favorites so far, even tho I felt the final battle to be kind of a let down

The final battle is really subjective. I think a lot of thought went into the final battle of Kuuga, from it's location to its choreography and whatnot. You have to really recognize the deeper meaning of the fight between Godai and Daguba.

A quick fight indeed, but an incredible final battle in my opinion.

In effect you could say that Kuuga subverts the ultimate shonen tradition of final fights with loads of spectacle and very little visceral combat. By showing it as simply two guys beating each other up until one croaked the message of the series (that humanity was not as craven and violent as the Grongi) was brought to fruition.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the meaning of that battle, the setting and everything made it really epic and stuff, I just wished they showed a more lengthier battle, especially with all the hype of the 'ultimate darkness' and the only thing he does in ultimate form was ignite fire and throw a few punches.


But still I understand where you guys are coming from

I'm trying to decide whether to watch KR Black or Fuuga, so I'd like to get your opinion on which series to watch first. I'd love to watch both at the same time, but ever since they took down those YT accounts it's been rather hard finding a way to watch these series.
