Kamen Rider Kuuga General Discussion Thread

I'm on episode 6 already, and I'm having such a blast it's almost not funny

But sweet christmas, that Hopper Grongi tore Dragon!Kuuga a new one...

Glad to hear you're enjoying it and I agree about the background music. Kuuga's got this kind of galloping metal sound that really gives it a distinct atmosphere.

Let us know what you think of ep.2!
THIS.

On the rare occasions that I find the Kuuga OST on youtube, I figure that almost all of the songs are original soundtracks created just for Kuuga. The Grongi themes, as well as the fast paced metal really sets the tone for the series. It's really pretty cool.

Great to see some more fans of Kuuga as Matt said. Man, the church scene was freaking awesome. I'm gonna go watch that episode again now. The first few episodes of Kuuga were pretty fantastic, not big like Decade's, but hey, small is beautiful.

I'm continually impressed by the attention to detail and general realism in this series. I'm on episode 9 right now, and seeing the squid Grongi's ink cause visible (and pretty extensive) damage to Kuuga's shoulder pad was a really nice touch

That is just the tip of the iceberg with the damage the Kuuga suit goes through. You are in for a whirlwind of an adventure you have never witnessed in a toku series my friend.

I think Kuuga had the wiggle room to go through all those damaged suits, but indeed, they give so much life to Kuuga's battles, so much realism, as G3/G3-X later does in Agito.

Kuuga's suit has shown a lot in terms of realism with getting damaged and all during his battles with the Grongi. I for one thought that Titan form would be impenetrable at first but I was sadly wrong.

Well, it's a bit of a minor event, but, in episode 10...that dog...he...

ONORE GURONGI!

I'm also starting Kuuga, through 7. The show is really shaping up and it's paced really well, I think. As more forms come in I'm sure there'll be more action, that's my only minor thing with it. But it made sense because Godai had to learn about his Dragon Rod power.

I don't know about more action. Kuuga tend to take away from the action to focus on other important things too. But hey, it works wonders like someone else had said in an earlier post. There's going to be an episode where there's zero Kuuga-action too.

After that i asked myself how could they aim this show at kids.
