[GAME] Kamen Rider Knights (Main Thread)

As Tamoa pondered over her father’s grave in regards to recent events, a man walked up and laid his own bouquet of flowers next to the young woman’s. He was a tall man with a slender build who wore his black hair in an untidy fashion, and wore a suit as black and messy as his hair. He was clean shaven and didn’t look as if he had stood in the sunlight in many years as he lacked any sort of tan. The man adjusted his oval sun glasses, lit two cigarettes, placing one on the tomb stone while taking a dip draw from his own, and then spoke with a tone that was as dark as his apparel. “You must be Tamoa, his daughter. He always spoke fondly of you though I doubt he would want you here when your ward is in such grave danger.” The man took another draw from his cigarette and took a card from his jacket pocket and laid it on the tomb stone for the young red head before revealing his name and intent. “Dorian Saber. You should bring your mistress to see me should she survive. I think it is time we spoke before Xeph has a chance tell her more then she needs to know. You should also be wary; there are many things about eclipse that your father never had a chance to tell you.” With this last of many cryptic comments the man turned away and walked toward a waiting sports car, a driver holding the door for him. Dorian would speak no more regardless of what Tamoa would ask. The dark man had said his part and had nothing else to add to it until he met Kivala.

Ebony put her helmet back on and turned to Sakaki with a response and a kind smile. “Apartment a-4, the only one with a red door in the building. Do be kind to Kotone, she is very sensitive.” Ebony pulled down the visor on her helmet and sped off toward the incident occurring some miles away, leaving Sakaki to fend for herself. The apartment complex was extremely nice and well kept, but it seemed to be mostly empty. It wouldn’t take Sakaki long to find A-4, which did indeed have a red door. The apartment’s interior was a bit bland but over all very clean and tidy. Sitting on the coffee table in the middle of the living room was a basket of assorted fruits and snacks with a card to Sakaki. The card simply read,” Welcome home Sakaki. From Kotone.” After examining the basket, Sakaki would hear a giggle from a near by door. When Sakaki would look, a yelp would be audiable followed by the door closing as if the watcher wished to remain unnoticed.

(Sorry for the long wait. I'll become more regular one of these days, and I'll post more often too. HA, I'm funny...)

Once Sakaki was inside, she looked the place over. It did look a little on the "blah" side, but she would take that over old drafty shelters any day. Going over to the table with the fruit and snacks, she picked up the card and looked at it. Naturally, when Sakaki heard the voice, she would look around to find the source of it. Hearing the yelp, Sakaki's eyes narrowed and she went over in the direction of the yelp. "You can come out...I promise I won't bite you or anything like that." She told her supposed room mate. Did she look scary or anything like that to this person? Sakaki sighed inwardly and hoped that wasn't the case.

Watching in horrifying dismay at the white-clad rider sent flying backward in a single motion brought Kivala attention back to Xeph. Barely the white-hair man move from where he stood easily took down one of the riders using only what Kivala theorized not even a fraction of his true power. This couple with Xeph not taking up the red kivat having made the challenge trouble and alarm her even further. The next was Kani who joined them a little late wanted to warn the pink-clad rider cringe clutching her helmet tightly as the strange melodious sound continuously grew louder. The melodious tune shifted into a battle of Kivala’s own will to remain in control, a battle shared as Kivarra erected series of mental barriers were not enough alone. As the next note crescendo its’ peak Kivala released her clenched hands to see Kani’s forced cancellation of the rider’s transformation at the hands of Xeph.

There was little Kivala to stop Aegis picking up where their fallen comrades failed. Looking at Eternal briefly shook off the last of the sword’s effect exhaled slowly turning her focus upon Femme and Kani. Xeph clearly was holding back on his true power, but why? More importantly if he reluctantly served the dark ancient deity why not break free of those chains! In what purpose does Xeph playing on their characters plan to accomplish precisely? Questions that will need answered another time needing shield Kani and Femme. If they are to make out of this all accounted for Kivala owe them a great apology yet again doubting their power. Raising her right palm toward erected an ethereal barrier Kivala pray hold out. Kivala’s resolve doing what was needed to fight Aesir shattered a little now face with one of his general’s.

“A-Are you two okay?†Kivala turn slightly keeping one eye on them while also Aegi’s and Delta’s attack.

Kitsune squeezed the soul gem within her pocket briefly ran after Damon confused by that little outburst. There is a major difference in her Fantasian and Human forms could not keep up with him as it seemed let alone stop. “STAY HERE?!†Kitsune yelled over the engines, “YOU CANNOT JUST…..†the fox-humanoid scoffed looking away and back down the path Kaixa sped in a hurry. Exhaling slowly the pent up frustration questioned Damon’s reasoning why he wanted to her to remain behind. The location of this place did not necessary stick out like those within the city.

They most certainly need to have a talk decided to compile with the simple request. With more of clearer mind did not quite want to run into Xeph at the moment. Knowing that Fantasian quite well would not afford taking that chance being in the Human World barely a day. With a light shrug headed back inside to see what else of value can be unearthed.

Reiko, while donning the persona of a white swan based rider codenamed Femme, at this point of time is seen charging towards terrifying entity known as Xeph with her the sharp tip of her halberd poised and aimed at his chest with the intention of driving it through him has found herself in a dilemma as her blade stop short near his chest. It is revealed that her blade is at the mercy of Xeph's grip where such action had caused Reiko to feel the brunt of the backlash force of the sudden halting of her attack as she tilted her body back in response to receiving the force and is dazed as a result as she tries to shake the feeling off. However, before she could do anything, she felt a sharp pain in her chest as Xeph delivered a palm thrust with much force that it pushed a dazed Reiko off her feet and is sent flying backwards, leaving her weapon in the hands of Xeph in the process. The force felt like a runaway train as it knocks Reiko unconscious and unable to react as her limp body remains airborne and is bound to increase her injuries if she were to crash onto the ground. Fortunately, Kani managed to grabbed on to her, slowing her speed as both proceeded to tumble on the ground due to the momentum only to stop a few feet away. As Kani proceeded to turn Reiko over, she appeared unconscious but still breathing as she lie motionless, indicating the strength of Xeph's attack.

Cisne, who is earlier shocked by the presence of Xeph, suddenly snapped out of her funk at the sight of Reiko being sent flying and then laid unconscious on the ground. "Reiko!" cried out Cisne with tears in her eyes as she watch Kani check on her. However, before she could run to her side, she noticed Xeph examining Reiko's weapon with much interest. Cisne's expression turned to shock as she witness Xeph pouring dark energy into the weapon that caused it to revert back into it's original form, which is the shape of a glowing orb that appears to have lost it's gleam as it appeared tainted by the dark energy. "What are you...." inquired Cisne nervously only to be interrupted when Xeph send the orb back her way. Unable to dodge, Cisne could feel herself absorbing the orb into her body, moaning in pain as she went while clutching her belly as dark energy began to consume her. In response, Reiko began to toss and turn as dark electricity began to build around Reiko's body, shocking her in the process, which served as her response to Kivala when inquired if either she or Kani were fine. Reiko's painful screams echoed around the halls of the abandoned structure, which could have been music to Xeph's ears.

Suddenly, Cisne is seen floating in mid air while dark energy forms a cold black aura around her. Her wings then proceeded to spread outwards only for them to wrap around her like a cape as the white swan like wings began to lose their radiance as black feathers replace their beauty. Slowly a white mask formed itself on her face as her clothing, cloaked by her wings proceeded to change as well. Without warning, her wings spread open revealing a fur and feather like armor while a full face mask with a long black feather headdress decking it. Black feathers began to rain down on everyone as the new Cisne began to slowly descend, her presence sending cold chills to everyone present, with the exception of Xeph. As was for Reiko, her screams began to fade as the dark electricity loses its intensity and the resulting energy caused the emblem on her vent deck to shift from gold to black. Her armor then slowly dissipates leaving an unconscious young girl in its place, as an indication that her bond to Cisne is broken. Cisne is seen studying her surroundings as her eyes darts from left to right until they are fixated on Reiko. A smile began to form on her lips as she proceeded to raise her left hand. As if by magic, the black feathers around her began to come together in her hand as they shift and form, growing longer as it went until a black sword is born. Gripping it tightly, Cisne began to study it as she stroke the sharp edge of the blade with the fingers.

Without warning, Cisne unleashed a barrage of black feathers at Aegis, Delta and Eternal. Using her new found speed, Cisne made a quick dash towards Kivala with blurring speeds that made it difficult for Kivala to follow. Before Kivala could strike, Cisne took a few good swipes at Kivala that caused sparks to fly as her attacks hit their mark on her left shoulder, right thigh and her back all while dodging any counter attacks Kivala could muster and maneuvering at great speed. Cisne's attacks then halted as she turned her attention towards an unconscious Joan. with great speed, Cisne appeared hovering above Joan with her sword raised above her head, poised to slice Joan in half. However, before the blow could reach Joan, a figure appeared in between Cisne and Joan. The figure appears to be Reiko as she stood in between them, shielding Joan as she went as the blade stop short near her face. "Why Cisne? Joan's our friend," remarked Reiko with tears in her eyes. "She along all humans deserve to die. that's the reason i have," responded Cisne with a cold tone. "You're lying! The Cisne I know would never do this! The Cisne I know is kind, gentle and would never hurt anyone!" exclaimed Reiko sadly as tears trickle down her cheek. "Sadly, you don't know the real me! So, move aside!" snapped Cisne as she remove her blade from Reiko's face and readied it to strike again. "No! Kill me if you must but I won't abandon her!" cried out Reiko with a determined tone. "Then so be it," replied Cisne coldly as she raise her sword.

At first glance, there seems to be hesitation as Cisne's hands tremble nervously. Then, suddenly, before anyone could do anything, the blade swung down on Reiko, blood could be seen spluttering out of her chest. Blood drops splattering on Cisne's mask and Joan's face as time appears to slow as Reiko slowly drop to her knees, her eyes locked on Cisne as she tries to keep them open. Memories of the good times she spent with Cisne began to flash in front of her eyes as tears stream down her cheeks. "Cisne...." muttered Reiko softly before she fall face down on the ground as blood pools around her. Cisne remained silent as she watch what appeared to be a lifeless Reiko. She reach out hand and touch Reiko's shoulder as though to check if she's alright. Cisne then suddenly gave out a loud cry of grief and is seen darting towards the air and smashed through the roof and is seen flying away. Reiko at this time appears to be breathing but faintly as the strike missed her vital organs which may be the reason why she is still alive but the damage to her emotions is severe, a tragedy orchestrated by Xeph.

Joan watched in horror as Cisne began to change. Just as horrifying was Reiko’s reaction to the dark energy. “Reiko, Reiko what’s wrong!?” Joan screamed, but only received screams in return. Then Joan looked toward Cisne again, and her heart sunk at the sight of her beloved friend. “C-Cisne…what…” Joan’s words were met with silence as Cisne attacked the other riders. Joan screamed, pleaded, and did all she could to bring Cisne back to her senses. All in vain as Cisne finally gave the young woman notice. Unfortunately, Cisne was poised to slay Joan, and Joan was dumbfounded by the circumstances. Only when Reiko appeared before her to protect her from this evil thing Cisne had become did Joan find the words to say. Before she could say them, blood splashed against Joan’s face. Her eyes widened as shock, panic, and sorrow flooded her being. “REIKO!!!” Joan caught Reiko in her arms as she fell and cradled the injured girl in her arms, putting a hand over her friend’s bleeding chest to try and stop the bleeding. “Cisne…why…why…”Joan’s words were shaken and desperate as tears flowed from her eyes. Why had this happened to Cisne and Reiko, why could she not stop it? Why couldn’t Cisne hear Joan’s cries or listen to Reiko’s pleas. “Why…why, why, why, why, why!??” Joan’s tears turned red, her hair followed suit. Something raged inside of Joan, something inhuman and fantastically powerful. The pools of blood forming around the two women started to drip upward in streams. The space around them seemed to warp and blood started to rush back into Reiko’s open wound. “She can’t die, She Can’t Die, SHE CAN’T DIE, SHE WON’T DIE. I WON’T LET HER!!!!” Joan had gone mad as chaos ensued around her. It was a horrible sight to anyone looking on as space twisted around her and she screamed a gibberish not meant to be heard by humans.

Then there was a strike to Joan’s neck, and everything stopped. Her hair turned blonde again, her red tears turned clear, and she fell over Reiko, unconscious. Xeph stood over the unconscious girl and looked down upon her. He then looked at Reiko, her wound now closed with a stylized heart symbol marked upon her chest were a stab wound had once been. Then, Xeph smiled, and soon he laughed. This was a true laugh, a dark, horrible laugh that caused the blood of lesser folk to run cold. Xeph was pleased; he never once expected to find one of Joan’s kind in this world of weak folk. Still here she was, a fledgling, yet already with such terrible power. Xeph’s laughter soon ended and he spoke to the spirit of Joan’s watch; to the phantom called Cornelius. “I never thought them real, nor that one still existed. Oh my dear old friend, truly you have an eye for power! Raise her well, even Aesir will have need to fear her, and that pleases me to no end.” Xeph then turned to Reiko who he could tell was barely conscious, though he knew not if his words would reach her. “You, little duck, have far to go before you are worthy of anything. Your partner at least shows promise, much like her sister. Fear not, my influence shall fade and your dearest ally may yet regain her sanity. Though I doubt she will ever be the same, or you either for that matter.” Xeph walked away from the two women and seemed intent to leave. He glanced at Raina on passing but only grinned as he spoke softly so only she would hear him. “We should meet again soon. There is much to discuss if you hope to survive.” Then he was gone, vanished from their sight as quickly as he had come. It was an unnerving feeling, the silence after the storm. Indeed, if their was ever anything to describe that man, it was a storm.

--------------------------------------------------

There was silence for a time before finally the door cracked open. Part of a young woman could be seen staring back at Sakaki. From what little could be seen she looked to be around Sakaki’s age, but was a bit shorter. Her hair was something like dark purple in the lighting but could have been black, and her eyes were dark blue. “I-I know you won’t. I’m just shy is all, and I d-don’t want to scare you or anything. Some people get grossed out, so I just rather stay like this until we get to know each other better. S-Sorry if it is weird…” It was hard to say what the nervous girl was talking about, she was actually very cute though details about her physique were hard to determine from the few inches of her that could be seen. She extended her left hand out slowly to shake Sakaki’s while introducing herself. “K-Kotone Fukishima, pleased to meet you.” Her skin was silky smooth and very healthy. If Kotone’s arm was any indicator, the girl was probably slender, but healthy. Then why was she being so cautious, what could possibly be wrong with such a nice, pretty girl?

As Tamoa pondered over her father’s grave in regards to recent events, a man walked up and laid his own bouquet of flowers next to the young woman’s. Dorian would speak no more regardless of what Tamoa would ask. The dark man had said his part and had nothing else to add to it until he met Kivala.

Turning around to acknowledge the tall man that approached her father's grave with his own bouquet of flowers, Tamao folded her arms under her buxom chest, maintaining a frown on her face. "I have heard so much about you, Dorian. My father was a man who really made sure the people he fought with were trustworthy. You were one of those few that he trusted with his life," she replied, looking back at the grave, where both bouquets lie side by side. "While it is true that it is my duty to made sure that my mistress is safe, the mistress has shown me that she is more than capable of handling herself in a fight, and that she will call me if she needs help," she added, adjusting her glasses before looking back at Dorian.

"I also asked for this moment to visit my father. Ever since I took it upon myself to protect her from the shadows, I have not had the opportunity to pray for my father here. As for Eclipse...there are always risks and responsibilities associated with any power. But for as long as I can protect the princess, as well as the people of this dimension..." Tamao added, looking down at her fist and clenching it tightly, "...then I will use this power and fight to the best of my ability."

In a single moment time everything felt like it had come to a complete standstill leaving Kivala shaken down to the core. The ethereal barrier that had had been erected to shield the others who had fallen from Xeph’s attack shattered by one whom she tried to protect. There was no time to realize exactly what the white-hair general did to Cisne cried out in pain as the Fantasian’s attacks struck one after another too quick for Kivala to block. It was only when Kivala offer a moment glance back at Xeph’s apparent smile he played a key role in Cisne’s action clutched the wounded shoulder tighter. First toying with the emotion of innocent lives not involved of this hidden war and now this?! “Unforgivable….unforgivable…†Kivala muttered quietly caught off guard by Reiko’s outburst to see Cisne’s departure and the bloody Reiko’s body in Joan’s arms.

Kivala squeezed her eyes shut voluntarily shifted to look away as Joan did what she could to save Reiko’s life. Barely know anyone of the Kamen Rider Knights quite long enough did consider Reiko heart to be in the right place in her own unique way despite what Kivala said. Standing back up Kivala did not bring herself to look back seeing what Joan had done move towards Eternal and Aegis. If her action were to be misread uncaring that so be it, but truth be known only to her alone. Where Cisne fled off to Kivala vowed that they will find their friend and bring her back. Though right now Kivala was focus on the man responsible for the death of an innocent man and corruption of an ally, Xeph. “We should meet again soon. There is much to discuss if you hope to survive.†Summoning her sword the silver clad warrior ran to intercept Xeph only a moment too late as he vanished from their sight as quickly as he had come.

Gripping the handle of her sword vowed that they would have much to discuss the next time see Xeph accountable for the pain he had caused. The matter remain despite the shallow victory Kivala was haunted by the fact they had been rattled by one of Aesir’s general without relying on the power of the red kivat. Exchanging silent glances between the Kamen Rider Knights did not feel even worthy to be amongst them.

Before Sasuke knew it the battle was over. Though he didn't know why, Sasuke would often be unable to remember previous fights. And yet somehow he was still able to win them. Sasuke looked around. One of the girls was badly injured. The Kiva rider had vanished. Somehow Sasuke knew they'd just barely won but again didn't know why. The wand in his hand was glowing brightly but he didn't notice. Sasuke simply closed the wand, making his sword vanish again. Some part of Sasuke was enraged, as if he wanted to destroy the first thing in range. He however restrained himself, trying to keep him composure. Aegis must have taken over during the fight and ran his body.

"Who was that?" Sasuke asked Kivala, incredibly confused as to the strange power he was wielding. It was enormous and dark and... magnificent.

Damon roared down the streets on the Jet-Slinger, his thoughts focused getting to the fight on time. Pulling out the Kaixa Phone, he inputted the command code: 9-1-3-ENTER

Standing By

He quickly slotted the phone into the buckle, causing Kaixa's armor to reappear upon his body, the Jet-Slinger arriving on the scene of the fight.

"Delta, are-" he was cut off suddenly when he realized that nobody was there, Xeph having vanished suddenly. "...Damn it."

Delta stood up slowly, quickly recovering from the sudden onslaught. "I'm... fine. But... the wounded one over there," he gestured toward Reiko, "She needs aid."

Kaixa got off of the Jet-Slinger, recognizing some of the riders there. BlancWing from the photos was knelt over another rider, the injured one. There were several people there but one of them stood out. It was a armored female rider, her sword tightly gripped in her hand. She reminded her of a bat for some reason.

'She's probably the leader of this group,' Kaixa surmised. He glanced over at the wounded rider again, her vital signs appearing on his HUD. They were not good at all.

"I assume you're the leader," he said, turning to Kivalaa. "Who are you?"

Exhaling slowly Kivala surveyed what remained of the area surrounding from the wake of destruction. It was another fine example that beyond animal ferocity there were those capable of fulfill the dark deity’s wishes far greater. As the silver clad rider turn around make recommendation that Joan take Reiko to a hospital immediately and worry about Cisne afterwards by Aegis sudden change in demeanor. A change noted from personal experience past losing control only awakens with bits of memory what transpired. “Simply put it to the point†Kivala said, “You’ve just encounter one of Aesir’s high ranking generals†remembering her partner’s words of caution. Categorizing Xeph underneath that section prove to be quite accurate from the man’s display of his own ability without any transformation.

Drawing wanting to address the three new riders was derailed by the loud sound of terrain vehicle approaching. Out of the three Delta appeared to know the new arrival personally did not take him to be another one of Aesir’s servant. Regardless Kivala could not bring herself to relax when one needed to be taken to a hospital. The unknown rider’s questionnaire caught her bit off guard to say at the least. Before now Kivala fought against the underlings of Aesir alone seeking out the Kamen Rider Knights in an effort to eradicate Aesir’s invasion plan. Never had Kivala consider herself to be a leader….especially not at the present moment helpless to done anything prevent the tragedy Xeph stirred. “Then you assume incorrectly rider†Kivala continued, “My name….My name is Kivala.†Her eyes shifted to Eternal briefly look at the unconscious Reiko
