[GAME] Kamen Rider Knights (Main Thread)

Reiko, donning the appearance of a white swan like knight, was still in a daze as she cheer the the two new riders on while watching the spectacle in awe. It is at this moment that she heard Kivala's remark about getting her head in the game as they may require all the assistance they could get to defeat the fiery magma monster, whose immense flames threatens to demolish the flimsy steel griddles of the abandoned structure they are fighting in. At Kivala's concerned remark, Reiko could only squeal in glee as she reach out and hug her. "Awww....You like me. You really really like me," responded Reiko with an excited tone as she release her grip and jumped up and down in excitement. "If you can go out of your way to protect me, then I'll go out of my way to help you, Ki...Ki...Bat-chan!" exclaimed Reiko with a mixture of what appears to be confusion and assurance in her tone. "Sorry...I don't quite catch your name..." remarked Reiko with a cute tone as she rubs the back of her helmet in indication that she is not very good with names as Kivala proceeded to launch an attack at the dopant.

Seeing an opportunity to strike, Reiko's next action was thwarted by the arrival of another rider who appears to be a amalgamate of a super hero and a robot as he sneaked a few attacks at the dopant with all his glorified presence. At least, that how Reiko would picture him to be in her mind as his presence seemed to gleam and shine beautifully in her sight as though she is struck by his charm. "Oooh! Another rider! A cool looking one too!" exclaimed Reiko as she excitedly as she watch the new rider unleash a fury of slashes with his arm blade. "Way to go, Hero-kun!" cried out Reiko with an encouraging tone which prompts her to act as well. Reiko then quickly slot a card into her rapier and pulled the knob which closes the slot that prompted the rouzer to cry out, "Sword Vent!" with a robotic tone as ball of light appears from above her and lands on her right hand. The ball of light proceeded to form and expand until a long double edge staff is physically in her possession.

"Here I come, Hero-kun!" called out Reiko excitedly as she race towards the dopant with her staff poised for attack. Once she is close enough, she lower her body slightly and proceeded to jump upwards while performing a quick ballet like twirl in the air while staff spins alongside her, creating an image of a spinning top with sharp wings at both sides. The attack is then seen cutting at the dopant's rock like exterior, creating sparks as it went, forcing the dopant back while careful not to injure the new rider in its wake. After much attacking, Reiko halted her spin and took a few steps back while regaining her composure. She then took on a stand by position as the new rider continues his assault on the dopant after her bizarre attack. "Isn't he dreamy?" muttered Reiko dreamily as she admires his attacks.

Joan landed outside the near destroyed building after having jumped from the fifth story window with two office workers who ran for their lives after being released by the exhausted rider. “That should be the last of themâ€, thought Joan as she checked her watch only to realize she had used all but one Toc. She had exhausted all but the tiniest fragment of her power and her rider form’s basic abilities were all she had left. Even so, Joan forced herself up and ran toward her bike and screeched off at full speed toward the direction her allies had forced the magma monster. On arrival, Joan was shocked by the number of new riders that had shown up to give aid to her comrades. She was also quite relieved that Reiko was mostly unharmed and ran to join the white rider as Kivala jumped toward the Magma dopant, striking the fiend with enough force to send it flying. The Crimson rider’s and Reiko’s combined attacks further weakened the burning beast until the black and white rider shot what looked to be a drilled shaped bolt of energy at the beast freezing it in place. Delta jumped and kicked into the drill seemingly cutting right through the dopant. The dopant shuttered and mumbled regarding its vengeance before succumbing to the many injuries it had sustained from the riders, falling to its knees and exploding in a less impressive blast then would be suspected from a magma monster. Then came the terrible truth; lying in the ashes of the monster was a broken device and an equally broken man. The figure reached for the shards of the device before he started to shake and went limp. “I just…wanted a fair chance…â€, were the last words of an innocent man who had been dragged through the dirt and lost himself in a moment of weakness. Joan was at a loss for words, part of her wanted to run to the body and try to resuscitate the man, but Joan knew how futile such actions would be as flames started sparking from the man as he turned to ashes. “Oh my God…he was-he was just…â€

“A poor foolish human who lost his senses to his own power.†The cold words came from above as a figure stood over the many gathered riders. The man vanished from his perch and reappeared amongst the riders looking around with eyes that were as swords cutting into each soul, searching for what lie within. Joan shook furiously upon feeling the white haired man’s gaze and felt an aura of dread and death radiating from him. The sword at the man’s hip seemed to sing out in a strange melody that only the silver rider Kivala would hear, as if sensing something familiar in the bat motif rider. The man’s eyes fixated on Ragna for a moment at which point he smiled a calm, eerie sort of smile and spoke out to all present. “Well done, putting this poor man out of his misery, and helping me to test the limits of these wonderful devices in the process.†The man motioned for the broken gaia memory as he continued,†I am called Xeph, sometimes called the silver wind. I am a servant of Aesir, though reluctantly, and hope one of you shall prove a worthy opponent, though only one of you has ever stood against before and even he is a shadow of his former self.†Xeph was soon joined by a red, bat shaped figure that landed comfortably on his shoulder and yawned loudly. “Seems I have arrived just in time, lord Xeph. Have I missed much?†Xeph responded only with a grunt which caused the red kivat to chuckle silently before the silver haired fantasian spread his arms as if to accept some gift from those present. “Come warriors, show me your power, let me see for myself how very far you all must come before I can call even one of you worthy!â€

Ebony put her helmet back on and turned to Sakaki with a response and a kind smile. “Apartment a-4, the only one with a red door in the building. Do be kind to Kotone, she is very sensitive.†Ebony pulled down the visor on her helmet and sped off toward the incident occurring some miles away, leaving Sakaki to fend for herself. The apartment complex was extremely nice and well kept, but it seemed to be mostly empty. It wouldn’t take Sakaki long to find A-4, which did indeed have a red door. The apartment’s interior was a bit bland but over all very clean and tidy. Sitting on the coffee table in the middle of the living room was a basket of assorted fruits and snacks with a card to Sakaki. The card simply read,†Welcome home Sakaki. From Kotone.†After examining the basket, Sakaki would hear a giggle from a near by door. When Sakaki would look, a yelp would be audiable followed by the door closing as if the watcher wished to remain unnoticed.

(Sorry for the long wait. I'll become more regular one of these days, and I'll post more often too. HA, I'm funny...)

Reiko at this time was still poised for battle as she lowered her body in a pouncing position, while her white armor gleams with the intent to strike if the need or opportunity were to present itself for her to deliver the final blow. However, her concentration was broken the moment Joan, who dons the persona of a rabbit themed rider named Kani made her appearance as she joins the fray after witnessing a soaring strike by Kamen Rider Kivala. Reiko is then seen jumping up and down in excitement as she skips towards Joan. "Usagi - chan! (Rabbit-chan!)" called out Reiko cheerily as she hugs Joan the moment she is near her. "You came! You came! I was worried that you are going to miss the action!" exclaimed Reiko merrily as she snuggles Joan while hugging her affectionately. Suddenly, she felt a knock on her helmet from above as Cisne appears in the air above them. "Stupid. We're in a middle of a battle here. As much as you miss her, you still have a job to do," remarked Cisne with an exasperated tone as she remains afloat in the air while donning her harpy form. "Mou...I'm just happy that she's here. You don't have to babysit me like you're some kind of old woman nanny," replied Reiko with a pout. "You are you calling old?" responded Cisne with an annoyed tone as she proceeded to shift to her human form and place Reiko in a head lock.

"I'm really sorry for all the trouble she caused," apologized Cisne with a polite tone as she bow her head in apology while still having a struggling Reiko under her grasp with a head lock. They would appear to be like a mother and child as Cisne punishes her with the head lock which is not exactly what a mother would do but the feeling is mutual. Their little awkward show was interrupted when Delta delivered the blow which caused the magma dopant to drop to his knees as an explosion erupted in his place. "Way to go, Badger-kun!" called out Reiko excitedly while under the grip of Cisne. Her cheers suddenly halted at the sight that before them as a fatigue man gave his laments his final regret before crumbling to dust. The sight shocked both Cisne and Reiko to the point that Cisne slowly released her grip which allowed Reiko to stand upright. "A human......this power," muttered Cisne with a stuttering tone. "What have we done?" remarked Reiko with a frightened expression as she place both hands on her mouth which is blocked by her helmet. Reiko's shock came as no surprise though she may have involved herself in many battles, never once had she killed anyone.

Her grief was brief as a voice spoke which broke the silence of that moment. "You!" exclaimed Reiko with an angry tone as she watch Xeph make his appearance. Cisne at this moment, shuddered at the cold gaze he gave everyone as he went on to explain the situation in regards to the dopant. Reiko was shivering in anger as she listens on while keeping silent as she clenched her fists tightly. When Xeph finished his speech, Reiko raised her head and stare at him with an angry gaze which is overshadowed by her visor. "Foolish human? Out of his misery? Don't talk like his life is meaningless! Nothing in this world is meaningless!" cried out Reiko with rage in her voice. "I won't forgive you for toying with people's lives!" exclaimed Reiko angrily as she raise her dual bladed staff and proceeded to rush towards him when Xeph invited everyone to do battle with him. "Searing Mist Technique : Dance of Bloody Rain!" announced Reiko as she twirl her staff while at the same time spinning her body in a graceful manner. After spinning her body for a few seconds, she proceeded to thrust her staff at Xeph with the aided force of her body spin.

(Short but I don't have much to go on at the moment)

Sasuke stepped back as the magma monster was dropped. His energy sword vanished from his arm upon his mental command. Sasuke looked between these other riders, trying to not laugh at the Swan's ditzy behavior. He instead sobered himself.

"I'm glad I managed to locate the Fantasian knights" Sasuke explained. "I would like to offer my service to the cause. I am Kamen Rider Aegis."

Something inside of Sasuke knew the second he said it he should not have said the name. The Aegis mantle had a good deal of stigma to it. Some members of his bloodline had gone drunk with the black magic powers just available to the user of the Aegis. Some had gone insane and slaughtered everyone they could. The most infamous was one who actually attempted an attack on the royal bloodline. However, Sasuke hoped that if they knew this he would not be judged on the families past failures.

Kivala’s descent delivered a direct impact sending the magma dopant balance off buying the other riders’ time to power up into a single combination attack landed crouching with one touching the ground. As the combination of the riders’ power Kivala glance behind her shoulder at the three new riders. The white rider, Kamen Rider Eternal cloaked with a black cape held the same presence Tamao, Kamen Rider Eclipse held around if much more ancient. Kamen Rider Delta held a presence on a small scale cellular level to that she related with did not reprimanded their initial encounter would have done the exact same thing. Finally Kamen Rider Aegis appearance was shrouded in an enigma as Kivala’s partner could only place a blinded trust in him as well. The one thing for certain Kivala shared the same drive as those gather to do what they remotely as possible. The combine attack of the riders’ left the magma dopant shuttering and staggering mumbling something that was too hard make out before succumbing to the many injuries it had sustained falling down onto its knees before exploding in less impressive blast.

There was hardly a chance to say thanks towards the new arrivals let acknowledge Aegis’s request as the explosion caused a backlash. Instinctively Kivala raised both arms blocking as the implosion spread outwards around them. Having dealt with Fireshades and Shadow Golems anticipated that this new level of foe destruction greater in magnitude. What she had not that as the dark smog lifted disheveled man and lying directly before him an equally broken USB device. The color within Kivala’s face drained immobilized by the fact the creature they had fought was not a fantasian beasts or golems created from bones of the dead, but a human. “I just…wanted a fair chance…”, The man said looking at the device completely shattered before flames combusted turning him to ash.

“Oh my God…he was-he was just…” Kani said what her own heart echoed feeling helpless to do anything to save him. What chilled further to the bone the enemy now found a sinister means increasing his army by including using innocent lives somehow. Kivala walked past Kani to pick up the remnants of the strange device and ashes of the poor man. This hardly considers a victory in the end despite having saved many lives could not save one.

“A poor foolish human who lost his senses to his own power.” A voice echoed stirring confusion till locating the source standing what had been left of the building’s neighboring unit. It was the same white-hair man she had seen before the riders went into action in what they believed to be another spawn of Aesir’s invasion plan into the Human World. His words haunted Kivala stared down at the broken device voluntarily closing her fingers around it glance back up to demanded what he had meant by that only to find him longer there. At that instant a strange melodious sound reached her ears alone noticing none of heard its melody in the air. Am I losing myself? Kivala thought touching the side of her head jerk back startled at the mysterious man now stood before them. The sound seems to omit from the sword strap to the man’s waist signified that he was no ordinary person after all. “Well done, putting this poor man out of his misery, and helping me to test the limits of these wonderful devices in the process.” The man motioned for the broken gaia memory as he continued,” I am called Xeph, sometimes called the silver wind. I am a servant of Aesir, though reluctantly, and hope one of you shall prove a worthy opponent, though only one of you has ever stood against before and even he is a shadow of his former self.”

Kivala squeezed the remnants tightly keeping her from answering to the darkness coupled with the Xeph’s sword melody. If Aesir now found fit to send one of his servants it meant only the battles to come will escalate unable to be contain in secrecy. Kivala gasped inaudible as a kivat similar that of Kivarra only red. This was not a mere servant of Aesir rather one of the Shadow Knights far dangerous than the underlings that she shared a common power with. Kivarra’s earlier warning came back that this general was not to be taken likely. It continued to turn Kivala’s resentment towards Xeph for toying with the emotions of an innocent man’s life like a guinea pig to test an experimental device. Crushing the device under her grasp move forward to confront Xeph skidded to a halt as Kamen Rider Femme accepted Xeph’s challenge without the hesitation she held at that moment.

Kitsune only imagine the one person likely have walk out of the compound aside Double’s left half to be responsible of such a dangerous distribution. This meant that the Gaia Memories did not entirely go up in flames that night was in the hands of Xeph. If the ancient deity had not already will exploit it to her benefit destroying Xeph and Aesir’s ultimate goal. “If memory serves me correctly and rarely am wrong do believe they were playing around with the name Gaia Memories for them.” She replied flipping back few strands of hair to one side.

“Further recon will require two riders.” Kitsune continue, “If they have this kind of effect on a human feeding off on their jealous need not picture what will happen if it fallen humans who are corrupted from the core already.” Reaching into her pocket retrieved the Soul Gem stared on its glossy exterior before stowing it back. Looking at the wounds Damon received healing knew he wasn’t any ordinary human.

Ben scratched the stubble what Edward dubbed Shaggy-look attempt growing a goatee as the new broadcast had had been forced to abandon the scoop as it took a turn for the worse. His only thought at that time aside wishing nobody was severely hurt Raina was nowhere heading towards that part of town. Lifting the lid off the cup peak inside to see if was completely empty mumbled and cursed as a drop landed upon a magna on the desk. “Gah!” slamming the cup down reading the name on the reserve card resting between its pages, “It was the only copy too….”

“What are you blabbing on about now?” Edward turn on the channel listing to see what else was on besides the news.

“Tamao….” Searching amongst the roller deck, “She had pre-order that one…um…interesting manga” turning brightly red in the face, “I had completely forgot about it arriving few days ago after the change of release date. Now I’ll have to give twenty percent off in addition to the release date error getting the cover bit…wet.”

Agreeing with her partner’s recommendation of retreating after their first battle together without argument had risen that they at least bring along Kuuga with them. There were questions needed to ask him before they even consider the servant of Aesir an ally. He may have helped them fight against the shadow golems and one of the Shadow Knight generals did not hold it against Kuuga’s alliance two-sided. However, even before the trio retreat anywhere it was Takuya’s persistence for the two did not quite blended due to their attire. Fang found a simple denim skort and short sleeve shirt thanks to Takuya who reluctantly had to pay for it.

“It appears that Aesir refocusing his forces to invade the Human World.” Fang muttered taking a seat down next to him. After the two were dressed appropriately to blend in Takuya took them to a small café Fang insisted that they least sit outside were they had bit privacy than within. Keeping an eye on Rune Ingram who introduce himself to them turn towards Takuya knowing that he held more questions. The best to start at the very beginning of Fantasia history and end of the Enchantic Kingdom
The best was to start at the very beginning with Fantasia’s history and end with Enchantic Kingdom’s downfall. “Aesir now live within the palace. What happened with the Royal Family…might be very well be dead. It is Aesir’s goal turn this world like he had with Fantasia Takuya. Our only chance is to find the Kamen Rider Knights….that is to say if any still exist.”

Aesir’s typical amusement tarnished viewing Xeph’s declaration to the rider’s prove that not all of his work had gone up in flames that the general. Grasping the decease messenger’s head flung it down below to the pack of Fireshades nesting within the garden. Watching the beasts tear into servants flesh smile darkly appraising Xeph little decided to grant the general an appearance his action did not went unnoticed. If anything Xeph’s little experiment might be useful to creating more perfect soldiers in the end.

((OOC: And there we go guys. I’ve created few posts that I hope to help out with those that had not a chance to post rather have them disappear in the back))

Xeph only grinned at the words of the riders. It was a false grin as he was not amused by their words, though he was not angered by them either. They were just words, meaningless words. Femme’s attack, however, spoke volumes about the young rider in white. Xeph could tell she had been trained in martial arts most of her life. He could also see how furious the girl was and to what extent the fury effected her technique. Xeph raised a hand and caught Femme’s halberd easily enough, though it would have felt like hitting a brick wall to Reiko. Before she would have a chance to counter attack, Xeph planted a palm thrust squarely into Reiko’s chest. The hit had staggering power behind it as it sent Reiko flying back while forcing her to relinquish her weapon. “Reiko!” was all Kani had time to scream as she caught Reiko and was sent flying back with her. The two hit the ground hard before rolling to a stop some feet away. Joan flipped Reiko over onto her back to ensure she was still breathing after the hit before turning to Xeph who stood their examining Femme’s weapon. Xeph could tell it was an advent weapon from its odd, living metal and looked toward Cisne who he knew the weapon was born from. As Xeph gripped the weapon, he implanted part of his dark power into the weapon which reverted back to its orb state. Now, however, the orb was clearly tainted as Xeph sent it back to Cisne which it forcefully reunited with. Xeph was curious to see how Cisne would be effected by his dark force, and how that would effect Femme in turn.

All the while, the Zanvat sword was singing its odd melody ever the louder into Kivala’s ears. Xeph heard the noise, as did Kivat, but both knew what the sword wanted. The blade was a living thing and it loved power and battle as much as Xeph did. It felt something in Kivala and knew she might be a worthy meal for the blade, if not a better thrall. Xeph was a worthy wielder, and the sword knew he was the only worthy one to use its power right now. Even so, Xeph rarely used the blade as too few foes were worthy of his full strength. On top of that the sword could not impart even a small amount of its influence on the chimeraic fantasian. This caused the sword just as much animosity and respect for its user. Xeph gripped the handle of his blade and feed some of his own power into it which quelled the swords hunger, and caused its song to lessen. Xeph felt and odd change around him in the moment as it seemed reality had been slowed down. He had sensed the rider in pink running toward him in an attempt to catch him off guard, but he hadn’t expected for her to create a momentary flux in reality in an attempt to slow him down. Joan had used her last Toc to create a second long window which would slow Xeph down to a tenth of his normal speed. She was certain her kick would hit, until she saw Xeph lean back as she flew right in front of him. Her attack had missed, and she was wide open. Xeph struck down Joan, who was still in mid air from her failed kick, with his own over head kick.

The impact could be felt by all present as Joan smashed into the ground, shocked that the shadow night was still so fast even at a fraction of his normal rate of movement. As the dust cleared, Joan was barely moving as her armor vanished. Joan had been knocked out of her transformation and was now at Xeph’s mercy. Xeph could have killed her easily in that instant, but he only turned away from the defeated rider. Xeph then turned his attention to the knight in red, wanting to save Eternal and Kivala for last, and being curious as to how Delta would react in this situation. He stared at Aegis with a false smile that was meant to set off the rider rather then show his own amusement. Indeed these knights had hardly proven entertaining at all, and Xeph now wondered if any would be of use to him. “Tell me Aegis, how much of that black power will you allow into yourself? I recall Romandez being quite powerful when he went mad. How long before you follow that path, I wonder?”

The moment Xeph had appeared Delta knew from his instincts that this foe was dangerous. In fact, he felt slightly... scared of the man before him. The power in front of him clearly on display was beyond his comprehension. He knew that he could not win alone.

Delta quickly brought up the blaster before commanding the Side-Basshar into battle mode before bringing the blaster back up as he fired several shots at Xeph, the Side-Basshar firing its own salvo of missiles at the dark rider.

"Damn it!" Damon swore as he watched Xeph appear at the scene of the fighting. Helios stood no chance against him, even with the backup. He refused to let his friend die.

'Wait...When did I ever consider him to be my...friend?' Damon thought to himself. 'I just met him a couple of hours ago!'

Regardless of this new revelation one trait of Damon's remained unshaken. Damon's trust and friendship were a precious and fragile thing. Although he had only a few friends, he would defend any and all of them with his life.

Suddenly, the Kaixa phone in his hand began to shine and pulsate.

Jet-Slinger: Come Closer

A roar of engines came from outside as Damon's jaw dropped at the sight in front of him. A large jet-powered motorcycle had appeared outside of his house.

"I'm going to need a bigger garage..." Damon muttered to himself as he quickly got on. Moving the two circular controllers around he began to maneuver the Jet-Slinger around.

"Kitsune-san!" Damon shouted over the loud jet engine, "Stay here and guard the base. Try to collect any information you find as well as make sure nobody gets in or out!" With that, Damon left towards the fight, hoping that he would make it in time.

Before Xeph had appeared, Sasuke was very very tempted to demorph to keep the Aegis from infecting him anymore. But then one of Aesir's Knights changed that so he stayed transformed. Sasuke was preparing a suprise attack when he was called out. Romandez. The name made Sasuke flinch. Xeph was referring to one of the previous Aegis, either the fifth or the sixth. There were so many he couldn't remember all of them off the top of his head. Sasuke knew he was the twentieth though.

"I'll take as much power as necessary to take out Aesir" Sasuke said.

4-1-5

Sasuke leaped at Xeph, his energy blade forward. He attempted to grab and slash the enemy. He continued to slash at Xeph several times. However, eventually the slashes began to become less controlled and more savage, as the Aegis began to bleed itself a tiny bit into Sasuke's mind.

Xeph noticed Delta’s mount take on its bipedal shape and turned his attention only slightly toward the black and white rider. As the machine and rider let loose their onslaught, Xeph did not seem to move as the attacks created much smoke and dust around him. As the debris from the attack cleared, there stood Xeph, unharmed with a phantasmal blade of purple and black light fixed solidly in his hand as any blade of steel. The blade almost seemed to radiate from the ancient warrior himself! Kivala and Kivarra would hear what sounded like the Zanvat sword sighing, disgruntled by Xeph’s choice of swords. Xeph only stared at Delta for a few seconds before stepping back to dodge Aegis incoming attack. Soon the crimson rider and Xeph were locked in a dance of swords, as Xeph easily side stepped and parried the ever madder warrior’s attacks. It was clear Aegis was loosing to his own power and was growing stronger for it. Xeph took advantage of Aegis condition and masterfully positioned Aegis between him and Delta with each of his defensive moves. Should Delta desire to attack again, then Aegis would suffer just as much damage, if not more, as the dark rider.

Joan was barely conscious as she tried to rise to her feet. She made it as far as her knees and elbows but simply fell flat to her face after only a few seconds. She could see and, perhaps, even feel Aegis succumbing to his power and wanted to try and help. There was little she would be able to do though as she would not be able to henshin for another twenty four hours. Even so she wanted to help all of them. Aegis, Reiko, Csine, and all those people Xeph would no doubt corrupt and use for his own plans. She could do nothing though, Joan was too weak, too tired. Still she tried to rise only to fall again, but she had to try at least!

Meanwhile, in another part of town, Tamao walked along the paved section of a cemetery, carrying with her a bouquet of flowers. Looking around at the scenario, she brushed her wind-blown crimson hair with her free hand as she continues to walk along the pavement, seemingly looking for something. After a while, she arrives at an ornate tombstone, the face engraved with regal emblems. Stepping toward the tombstone, Tamao proceeds to lay the flowers down on the tombstone, which has her father's name engraved on it.

Father...I finally got to meet the princess. And she knows I have been observing her from the shadows. I would like to know what you think of the Earth riders fighting on our side. I hope they are ready for the battles to get tougher, especially when Aesir himself comes to this plane... she thought, her eyes trained upon the tombstone.

(Kind of a short post. Trying to engineer myself back into this game ^^;; )
