Kamen Rider Kiva - Thoughts and opinions

I'm curious what people think about the series 'Kamen Rider Kiva'. I haven't seen it myself, but from a few clips I have seen, it looks pretty awesome, and from what I've read it has a pretty cool story to it, plus the motif given to Kamen Rider, making him look almost vampiric, I thought was pretty awesome. and seeing him with that violin was also pretty cool.

The only Kamen Rider series I've watched, but not all the way through has been Agito, which I will get to in another thread, so I'm curious what people thought about Kiva, and whether its worth watching or not.

I'm re-watching it right now. It is my fav. KR series. It's amazing, the comedy is freakin flawless, they have a great cast of actors, and great story line and characters.

Things that would of been cool, but doesn't matter is that they could of had more night battles.

[HIDE]What could have been done better was the use of Bashaa form and Bashaa fever. He didn't even use bashaa fever[/HIDE]

I personally like it, but from what I've seen around the internet, it's a fairly ... polarizing series. It's got great action and characters ( and I agree that the humorous parts are AWESOME ) but some people were put off by the romantic subplots that got more important in the second half, among other spoilery things. I guess it's really one of those things you have to watch through and judge for yourself whether it's the kind of thing you'd enjoy. x;

While it is nowhere near the top of my list, it's nowhere near the bottom ether.

I really enjoyed the Romantic elements, as well as spitting the narritve between the Past and Present. There where some problems, namely the quality in the writing could waver wildly episode to episode and some pretty gaping plot holes.

To me, it's a decent entry in the franchise.

I think what drew me to Kiva was the "romantic themed" plots. I love me some love stories, even if they are injected into an action show.

Granted, the writing sucked in terms of adding random **** along the way (Time Travel)........but it never really stopped me for considering Kiva as one of my favorite Rider series of all time

Not to mention the female casting of Kiva is supplied with some pretty nice looking actresses. So even if the storyline execution was horrid, I got me some eye-candy to endure the show (except Rina Koike, I'm sorry........the image of Sailor Luna will not be erased from my mind every time I see Rina on the screen)
