He's more lucky than anything. Anybody that would put on a puppet show two seconds before getting clocked in the face by Nago is a moron. But in his corner is Nago, the guy who'd rather kill Kiva than any Fangire actually threatening Megumi at the time!

But I agree with everyone who says Spidey plays a bigger role than we currently realize. Anybody that nutty can't just be cannon fodder.

Annd the moron knew to exploit it. Which tells me he's more crazy than stupid. Think about the fact that he's made it this long, despite being weak and dumb. He's the first fangire we see, and is likely to be one of the last

Maybe the Spider Fangire was the one responsible for Yuri's death.
As for Otoya, I wouldn't bet that he is dead, although this seems to be the most believable at the moment. I would guess that Spidey also has something to do with his disappearence.

According to many rumours and also to the Next-time-In-Kamen-Rider-Kiva, in episode 18, Wataru will have to believe in all of his three arms monsters to achieve the Dogabaki form (all 3 armed monsters together) in order to defeat the Seastar Fangire. I am sure that most of us did no expect this to come up so early, although in one of my previous posts, I stated that something new and exciting will happen around episode 20.
