Kamen Rider Kabuto - Talk Up! [Fansub Spoilers!!!]

I personally like hearing why people don't like a certain show. People who don't like a show and explain why, er, they aren't haters... That doesn't make too much sense to me.

I think people that don't like a show, and are mature enough not to go "it suxs", give very valid opinions on shows themselves. They aren't blinded by love~ like some other fans are. *points to self*

I'm all well and good with critiques, so long as it's not insulting or as Mihara put it "Let people like whatever shitfest they wanna watch", type of stuff.

That kills the fun for other people.

I be the first to say Tendou was an ass and still is to some point, but he grown on me. heh...But as I said before Kagami my favorite character. That why nobody will bring my mood down this week. Long live the power of TheBee!

P.S. Don't need to put spoiler tags. We found out Kagami TheBee days ago....lol

Tendou doesn't even come close to Shouichi. Shouichi was much more what Yaguruma was in ep 7; postive, friendly, helpful, all around good guy.

I think they want Tendou to be like Shouichi, only with enough of that moodiness that keeps the housewives coming back for more. They're similar in that they're almost mythical and are "perfect" people, only Shouichi was likable and a good hearted guy. Tendou's full of himself. He may or may not be on the path of heaven, but Shouichi was the path.

Anyway, it's funny, but irksome how everything gets dragged back to the old versus new bullshit, when that doesn't apply here. Kabuto is obviously dying to be something like Agito, so that's where the comparisons come in for me (and last I checked, Agito isn't "old"). And Agito's actually good and was done a hell of a lot better than Kabuto's been, it's sad that it's so overlooked in favor of the style-over-substance shows like Kabuto. And the people who praise Kabuto, who won't bother checking out Agito, won't understand and bitch about why those who did see Agito think Kabuto's just an uninteresting hodgepodge.

It seems counter-intuitive to the process of discussion and the whole point of a message board that so many people think an opinion that disagrees with theirs should never be uttered. There is nothing to be gained by just being exposed to opinions that rubber stamp your already held ideas and views, confronting differing opinions should lead to discussion, which then could lead you to learning something in the process. I personally think no less or more of someone based on their likes or dislikes as far as entertainment goes, to each his own.

I dunno guys. I've seen every ep of Kuuga through Kabuto so far, and I'm loving the heck out of Kabuto. I don't even really get the Shouichi - Tendou comparison either. Shouichi to me seemed like a goofy, funny-guy who could get serious when the situation called for it. Tendou is an arrogant cocky guy, who plays at being super-skilled and serious 24-7. They seem pretty opposite to me.

That being said, I love Tendou's character. To me a character with faults (like Tendou's smug self-satisfaction), are very interesting and fun to watch. And 'Tendou vs. The Police Station' .... no-one can possibly say that wasn't awesome.

Never said that. Let me repeat...

It's not that at all.

People don't like Kabuto because they're dumb and like flashy colors over story.

They like it because they do.

People haven't checked out Agito because it's not free or easily obtained. Kabuto is both.

We're sure that Agito is both peaches and cream, but I don't seek out to not enjoy something because something else is better. I and others just enjoy things on their own merits which apparently we are finding.

I wasn't talking about you, keith, I was aiming at those who stated if we didn't like Kabuto that we shouldn't discuss it.
