Kain
Lurker
Seven years ago, an event occured which would forever change the course of humanity forever. The Shibuya meteorite which fell down to earth from an unknown region of space, bringing the greatest threat known to man along with it: a race of alien beings known simply as Worms. Possesing frightening forms vaguely reminiscient of earth insects, and possessing abilities far more frightening. Their most troubling ability is their ability to mimic humans and perfectly blend in with humanity, which could lead to them slowly replacing humanity as a whole and becoming the world's dominant species. The other, the ability to move at speeds that the naked eye cannot even see, making them incredibly difficult to even fight, let alone destroy.
Some chose to believe that humanity's days were numbered as more and more incidents involving worms mimicing and replacing people, as well as going into violent rages in the situations where they encountered the original, began gradually increasing with every day. That is until a clandestine organization, known as ZECT came out of nowhere with the means to defeat the worms. At first they relied exclusively on squads of armored soldiers, equipped with special weaponry known as Zectroopers soon a new weapon in the war against these horrific extraterrestrials was soon introduced: The Masked Rider system. Using technology that far exceeded any convntional weaponry, a person equipped with one of these systems could not only summon a suit of high powered armor, capable of easily shaking off any attack by the worms, but also give them the ability to move at the insane speeds the worms do, through the use of an ability known as Clock Up. Not only did they replicate the worms best qualities but displayed the potential to weild power exponentionally stronger than that of the worms. The most advanced, and most potentially powerful of these seems: the Kabuto system.
The worms, sensing this threat attempted to infiltrate ZECT with the intent of capturing or destroying the zecters before they could be used against them. In the end the infiltrating worms were eliminated, but in all of the chaos several of the zecters ended up being lost, including Kabuto. With it's most advanced weapon lost ZECT has chosen to focus most of it's efforts on retrieving the lost zecters while still devoting a good portion of it's efforts toward defeating the worms. As for the other zecters, through various circumstances they have ended up in the hands of several civilians who were never meant to even touch the zecters in the first place. Just what went into the construction of the zecters? What will the owners of the lost zecters choose to do with their newfound power? And finally, why is ZECT so afraid of the young man who has become the weilder of the Kabuo zecter's power?

The Masked Rider system: What may be the most advanced weapons known to man whose abilities appear to be modeled after the creatures they were built to fight. While there are several different interfaces through are used such as belts, braces and a few others they all basically possess the same abilities. Each zecter comes with two forms, the heavy, defense minded Masked Form which is often used to scout out situations and gauge a worms ability while taking little damage, and the fast and strong Rider forms which are capable of using the Clock up feature. Upon transforming the user transforms into the Masked Form, and through the use of the Cast Off command, the heavy armor can be shed in order to deal some damage to the worm and transform into that system's rider form and gain access to the system's finisher. The fact that the Zecters are based on insects, and operate in a way similar to the worms though has led many to believe that they were based on the worms. The fact that no other similar technology exists anywhere else on earth has made quite a few wonder about the origins of these systems, which only the highest of the higher ups at ZECT know.
Lost Zecters: The zecters that went missing due to the chaos that ensued during the ZECT infiltration. They each ended up with their new owners through varying methods.

ZECT Riders: Rider systems still under ZECT's control they were given to people affiliated with ZECT according to certain qualifications which are believed to be necessary to bring out the full potential of the systems. Currently only the highest of the higher ups know exactly what these qualifications are. Three of them known as Caucasus, Hercus, and Ketaros are part of the Kabuto retrieval squad and use systems based on the Kabuto system, but without a Masked Form and somewhat less power due to their rushed production. Each ZECT Rider commands a group of Zectroopers with Gatack and Zabee commanding the largest groups.

My bio:
Name: Rick Curtiss
Age 19
Rider Designation: Kabuto
Appearance:
Bike: Kabuto Extender
Weapon: Kabuto Kunai Gun
Bio: A lazy, comic book reading, video game loving, wannabe rock star with a seeming endless appetite, he is one of the last people that anyone would expect to be underneath the armor of the cool headed, heroic figure known as Kamen Rider Kabuto, but in the end that is one truth that simply cannot be denied. Hailing from the Unisted States in the sunny state of California he didnt seem to have much enthusiasm for pretty much anything, despite having an odd natural talent for most things he tried, well all except for gaming and electric guitar which were ironically one the few things he initially had some trouble with. Unlike most who at his age would go to college or get a job, he simply decided to travel from place to place, while taking on various odd jobs to support himself and his exorbitant eating habits. At some point he got rather bored with his home state and snuck aboard a random airplane, and thus a series of events that the fate of humanity itself would hinge on. Shortly after arriving on the other side he had found himself being chased by airport security, not like that was suprising in any way. It just so happend that one that exact day the worms had infiltrated and attacked ZECT, and as he found himself running through the streets he soon bumped into an injured ZECT operative who had ran off with the belt in order to keep it away from the worms. In a moment of fear and panic he hastily handed the belt off to a very confused Rick, who chose to hold onto the belt for the time being.
It wasnt until much later that day that he ended up discovered the true power of that belt. While on the way back to his hotel he found himself surrounded by worms who intended to forcibly take the belt from him. Naturally scared and confused by the fact that he was surrounded by freakish alien mimics he was pretty sure his number was up, that is until a man came riding in on the Kabuto Extender, a man known as Kain Realian. Apparently seeing no other option, Kain told Rick to put on the belt and reach out toward the sky, an action which summoned the Kabuto Zecter to him. Almost instinctively Rick slid the zecter onto the belt, and become Kabuto for the first time, prior to defeating the worms with ease and all without utilizing the Rider Form. After the fight was over, the man that helped him out was gone, and all that was left was the Kabuto Extender and a note that simply said "Kid your gonna need this". Kain's involvement in the incident was never revealed to ZECT, nor was Rick's identity as Kabuto, thus giving him some anonymity for the time being at least.
Ever since that night Rick has felt compelled to continue transforming and fighting the worms, a task which he seems to show a natural talent for despite having no prior combat experience of any kind. In battle he is suprisingly calm and cool, also to the point where he simply seems unaware of the danger he is in. Though there are situations where his style completely changes, such as when a woman is in danger he cant help but rush int to rescue them in a flurry of wild and hotblooded attacks. Outside of battle he isnt much different, though seemingly infinitely more relaxed. He seems to give off a vibe that would pretty much prevent anyone from suspecting his other identity as Kabuto due to the fact that he seems more preoccupied with napping, making a quick buck and snagging free meals than anything else, though he does have a weird charismatic vibe about him as well. He is also suprisingly accepting of his being more or less trapped in Japan, and has picked up the language rather easily, though he completely lacks the ability to read the language. He continues doing his various odd jobs in order to continue paying for his hotel room, though as expected he seems very uninterested in most things not involving a controller or playing elaborate and cool guitar riffs but when there is money involved he will still give it a shot. In the end the only thing that seems to make him nervous is the fact that ZECT is apparently after him, since he has some issues with fighting other humans.
