Kamen Rider in Anime

...Excel Saga...

Is that what Hyatt and Excel turned into in the last episode?

...'Cause other than that, I can't think of any other time they would have.

Excel and Hyatt parodied Barom 1. The Kamen Rider parody occurred in episode 10.

Okay, I just watched episode 10. Where exactly was the Kamen Rider parody? I think I missed it.

When the old guy is being operated on, he's wearing the Ichigo suit. In fact, that entire scene was a parody of the original Kamen Rider show.

I'd love too see a well done Kamen Rider series or OAV. Maybe with Fukuda on directing duties and Hisayuki as character designer. Either with an all new Rider or something along the lines of The First, only this time don't let the Cobra and Snake story swallow the whole damn thing. Matter of fact, nix that story entirely.

I've also felt like there have been some anime infuenced by modern Rider series that you might think would be. I've always gotten a liitle KR Blade with girls vibe off of Nanoha A's.

Then of course you have Karas which I think maybe Garo and Ryuki had an effect on.

Not sure if this is an anime but viewtiful joe has alot of tokusatsu Homages and parodies.
- Joe wears a large scarf with his costume
- The pose struck by Joe as he makes his transformation into Viewtiful Joe is almost exactly the same as the classic henshin pose from the Kamen Rider series
- The Red Hot Kick is the same as the rider kick
- Joe yells "Toh!" when jumping
- The hero costumes worn by Joe, Silvia, and Captain Blue (among others) are clearly based on the costumes worn by the various hero teams from the Super Sentai series
- before joe battle's a boss his face mask closes like Kaiketsu Zubat

Remember the "Kamen Rangers" and the "Eden "Kabuto" Zecter"?

From what anime were the Kamen Rangers from?

Here's an awesome one, in the latest ep of Hayate no Gotoku, episode 16 both sword and axe forms weapons stab a kid and the denliner is animated along with the torsos' of Hana and momotaros, we also get a look at Naomi's coffee(which momo is holding) and the Owner's Flag pudding thingy.
