Is it true that Akira, Ibuki's apprentice, transforms one time only in the series?
If it is true, which episode is it?

Akira transforms at the end of Episode 40 and picks up in the prologue of Episode 41.

[HIDE]Like I said, if you really look at it, she only almost does it. She gets about 95% there (even beginning to take on what would have been her Oni form), but she's unable to complete the henshin and collapses. She was close, VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY close, but she didn't quite fully complete it. If she HAD fully completed it, she would have been able to maintain the Oni form and fight.
