Kamen Rider Gaim - News/Rumors Thread 2: Suffering Incoming

Episode 42: Micchy's Last Transformation!

Micchy reunited with Mai in Gaim's garage. However, Mai suddenly begins to feel ill, and falls to the ground. "Mai is dangerous in this state". Following Warren's directions, Micchy takes her to the hospital.

Kouta and Kaito meetup with Zack, who has rescued Kouta's sister, Akira. Together, the three of them defeat the last of the Invess in the city and rest, but they are appalled when Kouta says that they should evolve and live in Helheim. Kaito states that this is the thinking of the Overlords, but Kouta remains solid in his belief.

Who the hell is Warren? & really, they're just going to let Micchy walk right back in?
oh, Oren/Bravo?

I wanted to complain, then remembered that any and all affronts to Aesir or any other liberal subgroup will be met with an exaggerated retort where every other word is in romanized Japanese. (Examples include, but are not limited to, kisama, nakama, tachi, keikaku, baka, etc...)

We could argue about what makes a good sub, naturalness, localization, accuracy, the various varieties of the English language, jokes, slang, puns, idioms and so on all we want, but I'm tired, so I'll just post this picture:

Aesir doesn't call him that! Fans started calling him "Warren Statesman" as a pun on Aesir translating his name to Ryouma Wärring

(the umlaut is cos he is extreeeeeeeeeeme)

The Warren Statesman thing also dates back to well before he appeared in the show. It's just a fandom joke name, and KamenRiderBiblio was using it as just that; a joke.

Fansub and translation debates go nowhere and this isn't the place for them, so let's not, please?

Lol, making up your own ghosts and getting scared of them, too.

While we're at it: Hey, I read somewhere Drive is going to be co-produced by Nickelodeon.

Ooookay then...
Switching gears AWAY from the subbing rants, let's talk about NotMai.
What if she is the "Princess" of the Overlords? (aka Rosyuo's daughter)
