Definitely makes sense. Now that you mention how these characters have been chosen by different sides, it does make me realize, Sagara IS the only one who really "chooses" Kota for anything. He's not someone Takatora likes, Ryoma sees him as more of a lab rat... Think at some point, Kota is just gonna be fed up with this?

Most likely. Kouta, to Sagara, is the perfect man for his plans; he is too gullible. Kouta believes by protecting the innocent he can protect the world. Sooner or later, Kouta will realize what he is doing is just helping the problem to escalate.

Potentially... We still don't know REALLY what Sagara wants, which is what makes me so curious about him. He is the first character in Kamen Rider who really makes me scratch my head like "What's his goal?"

I never thought Sagara of all the characters would end up being the character that ends up going this route. I mean, I remember earlier on in this thread someone compared him, metaphorically, to a snake in mythology because of how he spreads propoganda, but then he turned out to actually BE a snake!

LOL yeah, to an extent. I haven't gotten too far into OOO so far, only up to episode 10, but yeah, I am curious about his whole deal.

Narutaki is a lost cause. He briefly went through a Showa villain cosplay phase post-Decade, and these days hangs out with a monkey puppet.

You can't make this stuff up.

Of course, now I'm making a connection between Sagara and Kogami since OOO ended in 2011, which may be when Yggdrasill came about. Sagara is Kogami.

Sagara is the more subtle and potentially insidious version of Kougami. Though they'd probably seem a lot more similar if Sagara kept his radio personality off camera :laugh:.

I don't see Kota going along with Sagara's plans if it means perpetuating Helheim, letting it continue to consume more worlds and force them to create Overlords. That is if that's even what Sagara is really after :redface2:.

I could see Kouta managing to defeat Ryoma and Kaito, leaving him as the only Rider Helheim can choose, and then rebelling against becoming an Overlord and going up against Sagara/Helheim as the final boss.
