Kamen Rider Gaim - Lock 09 "Operation: Catch Those Inves"

I hoping in the end that's how it deviates from Ryuki a lot. Where the Riders actually work together cause whatever Yggdrasil is doing, they'll unite to stop it. Well maybe without Zangetsu... can't see him being gung-ho... maybe one of the main antagonists they'll have to "Squash" is more like his fate.

Actually, I can see Zangetsu turning on Yggdrasil, especially if they do have a evil hidden agenda. He's very zealous and committed to his work, showing him to be sometime who is dedicated and passionate to his beliefs. And the dialogue "I will secure a future for humanity" succinctly explains his whole character; he's wants to do the right thing, and is pursuing it in the path that has been opened to him even if the path involves morally questionable deeds. Once Yggdrasil's true face is revealed, I can definitely see him turning around to stick it to them.

Speaking of Helheim, we haven't seen the white Mai speak to any riders since Ryugen...

She appeared to them to warn them that they have in their hands a power that will shape fate, and they must be careful and resolute in the path ahead if they were to proceed. That fact that she didn't appear to the other Riders basically means that they don't have that power and is not as important to fate's course.

I don't know why Kouta and Micchy didn't just take this pportunity to grab a few more lockseed...Mai still has that lame sunflower one! At least get some pinecone or acorn ones for your team just in case. At best I bet summoning another invess and using it could slow down a rampaging one. Heck I bet you could get the two nut brothers to help by giving them new Lockseed.

Really, Kouta had nknown about the Forest since episode one. In episode three, he had been given a reliable way to enter and exit the Forest anytime he wants. He knows that picking the fruits will grant them Lockseeds, and thus power, and even mentioned it to his enemy(Kaito) and potential enemy(Mitchi). He had went into the Forest once after that, not for any personal agenda but purely to save Mai. NOT ONCE, did he even thought about picking more Locks to build up his strength, and that, I think, is part of his character. Mitchi, though, will definitely go in there in secret to collect Locks since it is the sensible thing to do in his situation.

Well maybe without Zangetsu... can't see him being gung-ho... maybe one of the main antagonists they'll have to "Squash" is more like his fate. Or possibly Micchy will end his brother after going evil or something... then somehow he is redeemed by Kouta... unless he axes him off too... then.. yeah I hope things work out different from Ryuki. I hated the tv series ending to Ryuki, but I enjoyed the movie ending more.

So far I am loving the story and most of the characters, minus Bravo... can't wait till he's dead.

yeah, that's what i mean...i love everything in ryuki from the start but in the end, errrrr...i became dissapointed in ryuki ending for its series :shakefist
and hope no one repeat that kind of ending

at least keep kouta alive until he wins the final battle, after that i dont care what happens in zawame city...just like the fate of kenzaki (did kenzaki wins against hajime ?) :D

and until now, we dont even know which is the bad side
until now yggdrasil' motive based on takatora's word, it is to preserve humanity's future, while in helheim side, invess is just like a wild animal.
maybe there will be a third party ?

Hmmm... part of me is hoping he'll turn on them too and join the Riders against them... but I don't want to hold my breath on that happening. It would be nice though, though I think he'll just become Public Enemy number one if he turns on Yggdrasil. As in he won't join anyone but fight his own reasons and humanity and just go against both sides of the conflict.

Unless you meant that already? lol

I'm hoping Kouta isn't killed period to be honest. I was never happy with Blade's ending either. He didn't necessarily win anything, he just stopped fighting and left cause... *SPOILER ALERT*

A 2nd Joker.

The Missing Ace movie is how I'd of liked the show to end and in some ways, do to fan-fic-ery, is how it ends. At least in my mind. :3

There are parts of the Ryuki ending that I wished were different, but for the most part I'm okay with what happened at the end.

Let me introduce you to something called the Shin Megami Tensei franchise:laugh:.

Hmmm... part of me is hoping he'll turn on them too and join the Riders against them... but I don't want to hold my breath on that happening. It would be nice though, though I think he'll just become Public Enemy number one if he turns on Yggdrasil. He already voiced disapproval twice towards his Yggdrasil colleagues, for letting a trained soldier enter the fight and for professor Sengoku's frivolous response to their current situation. The thing about Takatora is, from what we've seen, he's the kind of guy who would be totally fine in being a public enemy. He has very strong ideals and convictions and holds fierce to his beliefs(for the better and for the worse). If he has a strong reason to oppose Yggdrasil, I do think he will.

Takatora disagreeing with the others comes to where if Oren hurts these kids or Inves kill people, it will reflect back on them. To where many will start agreeing with Kaito & Mai's opinion of Yggdrasill. Except to where they want them ran out of town.

Welcome aboard. :buttrock:
Choo choo

Well Mango Arms was badass last week, and the action this week was really good. That form change between Orange and Strawberry was really cool, as was the Gaim+Ryugen on Invess fight in the tunnel. Double finishers FTW!!! (yes I know they're just shilling the plastic, and I couldn't give a monkeys 'cause it was awesome!)

Also, as someone who HATES that whole thing where the secondary Rider is a rival for no reason, just having Gaim and Ryugen being friends and working together form the outset is a really great change. Even Wizard and Beast took a while to get it together but these two are working together from the start.

I'm still not getting as carried away as some people seem to be. I can't help but recall this time last year when everyone was enthusing that Wizard was going to be the new Ryuki and return Rider to it's early-Heisei style (aah, hindsight). I've not seen any of the head writer's anime work, and just judging by what I've seen it's not (yet) quite the revolutionary leap some insist it is. But yes, it's become a fun watch, and that's all I ask. If I'm resisting the urge to bounce up and down like a little kid, you are most certainly doing your job.

Oh and for some reason that episode title keeps making me think of this:[HIDE][ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRsPdzivDrM"]Stop the Invess, Stop the Invess[/ame][/HIDE]

Ditto, with all the homages in the season I totally after this episode made the mental connection with Kirihiko from W. Only difference being Zangetsu's an actual rider...

*thwack* Stop that choo-chooing! :P  No blandly designed toku heroes allowed in here. XD lol

I do like the fact that at least Ryugen and Gaim are working together too, and I got no problem with the 2nd Rider being a rival, as long as it eventually evolves and doesn't become stale for lack of a better word. :3 Will be interesting when Ryugen betrays Gaim though... Oh you know it'll happen! Just look at how methodical Micchy is and how he's playing Sid and his own brother. O_O lol

Double Finishers are cool. Now they just need to do a Double Rider Kick. :3

I really have the feeling Micchi and Kouta will come to a big disagreement and falling out later on. Micchi's too conniving to continue riding Kouta's niceness. Their relationship is the polar opposite of Gentaro's and Ryusei's.
