Kamen Rider Gaim - Lock 07 "Wrecking Ball Watermelon, Big Bang!"

Baron is so hot he's the only reason why I bother with this series.

You're either a troll or you are completely incapable of perceiving the numerous elements that make this show absolutely incredible. Either way this is quite possibly the most insubstantial comment I've read on this forum in years.

I read in an article where the actor for Baron revealed that he almost got the part of Capt. Marvelous, but he didn't go for it for some reason. So I guess you like the Marvelous type of guy. :169:

Pretty much everyone here watched Garo season 3 for Rian so I say it's pretty fair.

I guess, and while I can't speak for Garo (since I still haven't gotten around to catching up on Garo... I'm so behind its not even funny) but there are SO MANY reasons to be watching Gaim! Waterballoon's comment just seems so unappreciative of just what an exceptional series Gaim has been and is looking to continue to be. It just makes me sad that someone can have such excellent material just laid out for them and glean only the most superficial of details like the others don't even exist. Just seems wrong. :disappoin

So far Watermelon's my favorite arms in Gaim. As for the episode itself, I have no idea where they are going with the three non-main riders. Kind of a shame that it's going so darn fast. I hope it doesn't end up like Go-Onger for me and act as if it should've ended around episode 25 or so.

There's only been like 7 episodes. It could all go south.

My only problem with Gaim right now is that a lot of great fights scenes are ruined because of the comedic effects.
Having comedy in KR is nothing new, but usually it is something that happens outside the fight scenes.

First we get cartoonish sounds, which I can live with, because the fight still looks cool.
But then they start doing things like this:

Can you imagine if they had done stuff like that in Ryuki?
It completely kills the mood. :disappoin

It wouldn't surprise me if a death scene in this show would go like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttoC1n8z9h4#t=177

I'm not watching just because someone is "hot", but I must admit Gaim hasn't really clicked with me yet either. I can see what everyone points to as good points, but for some reason I just haven't been able to get invested yet. Of course, I had the same problem with Ryuki, Faiz and Blade, where those shows felt achingly dull for 15-20 episodes before finally catching my interest, so maybe it's just proof that Gaim has captured some of the essense of those shows. I suspect a large part of it is just that I automatically start grinding my teeth with annoyance at permanently angry secondary Riders who will no doubt come to respect and befriend the title character by the end of the series, so every time Baron appears on screen my brain instantly checks out. Yes, that's my problem and not the show's, but I just mention it in order to point out that there are some of us out there who don't think Gaim is already the best thing the franchise has done in recent years.
I love this image. I may have to make it my profile pic. Heck, I may have to have it blown up and put on my wall. It is just SO silly it crosses infinity, loops back around and ends up in my awesome zone :anime:

One thing I really enjoyed about Bravo's fight with the Nut Brothers was that he wasn't outright trying to defeat them, he was making a show of it. It really felt right, due to his gladiator theme.
