Kamen Rider Gaim: Full Series TALK UP!

I was referring to when after Redyue leads an accelerated Helheim invasion of Zawame and of the Earth.

There's fruit all over the city, and yet no one acknowledges the possibility that any of the remaining citizens

Actually I think it's kind of acknowledged, the missing mother of the kid that Akira picks up briefly for two episodes is one of the unfortunate ones that seems to have eaten the fruit.

I gotta question, in the final episode how did Micchy and Jonouchi henshin? I thought the Helheim dimension was gone? ?

No it's not. Only the plants and Inves on Earth were taken the new world. The stuff on the Overlord world is still there.

There's fruit all over the city, and yet no one acknowledges the possibility that any of the remaining citizens (who are particularly vulnerable to their effects without Drivers of their own) could have turned Inves. All it takes is a bite.

It would have been pretty easy to explain away the threat of the fruit, too. Just say the hypnotic aspect has no affect over those who know the truth of the fruit and what it can do to you. An "ignorance is bliss, knowledge is power" kind of thing.

Madness! Madness! You're doing it again! The summer movie hasn't come out on DVD yet! It's not over yet! Heretics!

Unless you're from Japan or travelled to Japan and watched it already.

The show elevates the threat of the fruit with Yuya and Hase, but as soon as Helheim marches into Zawame, the fruit are relegated to seemingly harmless decoration in the background.

Look at all those missing persons posters in episode 46. Half of them probably ate the fruits.

You better believe it did well. It's toy sales weren't quite as strong as Kuuga's (which weren't very high to begin with by today's standards, and the multi-rider thing wasn't too popular, from what I understand), but it's ratings were even better than Kuuga's, which is saying a lot. Toei tried the Kuuga and Agito formula a third time with Ryuki, and it was so successful (on the toy front, at least), that they decided to copy THAT show.

Thanks.
I actually was serious with that question so, this helps a lot.

..I never realized that; and now, I'm sad. :<

You're waaay over-thinking this. The Helheim dimension is still there, it's just not connected to earth anymore. Plus, there's no real information about how the armor works, it doesn't necessarily come from that dimension anyway. It's just supposed to look pretty.

I think those Fruit Armors do come from the Helheim dimension. Every time they're in Helheim, the fruit majestically appears out of thin air onto the user. When they're on Earth, it appears from the Cracks instead. When Takatora was testing the Genesis Driver in a Helheim hologram room, a Crack still appeared when he transformed into Zangetsu Shin.

What happened with Saban.

Don't forget too many movie tie-ins and specials that killed concepts and momentums for the writters. Also, echoing my thoughts on Gaim.

honestly the tie-in movies (the great soccer battle movie) and specials (ToQger and Kikiader episodes) didn't really bother me and didn't kill any momentum i think its everything that makes it work there wasn't any glass ceiling or anything this was a rider show that for the first time in a while (since OOOs, one of my favorite riders) i've enjoyed and didn't have a complete problem with. the leader character kouta whom i think we all can relate to in the early on in the show and as it progressed we all felt his growing pains and felt his anguish and issues and drama with micchy and how much his brother's shadow he was in and how it hurt him, etc.

all in all the villains were brilliantly done even if there were'nt a big bad but how they all were manipulated by sagara, professor sengoku and the overlords that this show was outta left field and different yet still grounded. it will be one of the better heisei era rider shows since Double and OOOs to me really snap the mold and hit it out the park.

You are thinking about the momentum you saw and rode on, not the writters or directors. These movie-tie in may have effed up any plans they may have had for a proper 49-50 episode Rider that it seems Gaim should have been(Toqger is one, Kikkaider is 1 and then the soccer is another 1, so proper 50 episodes) not to mention any sort of tie-ins to a summer movie may disrupt writting plans at times.

There's a total of 47 episode with the Kikaider and soccer episodes, though. So if you didn't have the ToQ-crossover that would make it 48 episodes.

Remove the specials and crossovers and Gaim has just 45 episodes for itself.
