Meanwhile, Kouta and the goon squad fight to get into the Yggdrasill tower.

Kouta majestically uses Kiwami Arms' Summoning Ability in a similar fashion to the Mass-Trace On/Gates of Babylon attacks against that Turtle Overlord.
Duke is stronger than Gaim Kachidoki Arms from the looks of it. Kind of upsetting to see that Kachidoki Arms is just used as a form to get smacked around in before Kouta goes into Kiwami Arms.

Kachidoki is still strong. He still managed to harm that Overlord but doesn't have enough tricks of his own to do much. It's just that Ryoma is hax and gave his suit snazzy features. Aside from that, there's only so much you can do with just sheer strength alone.

This. As much as I like Kachidoki Arms, this is really not surprising or upsetting to me at all.

Kachidoki was pretty much equal in strength and durability and mobility with the Genbu Overlord. The only difference was that the Overlord had the snake on his back to give him the advantage to overcome his speed deficiency.

Very brave of Oren and Jounochi to take on that horde like that, lets hope that they aren't being setup to take a fall in the next few episodes. Ryoma seems to be planning something, analyzing Kiwami makes me think he will improve himself to take on Rosyuo. Also, Kaito vs Mitsuzane coming up, and judging by the next ep title, may gain Overlord power to finally take that guy down. The only bad thing is that no episode next week.

On a positive note: Baron Lemon Energy Arms doesn't suck.

[HIDE]Still miffed on how Urobuchi not figuring out that Baron could've been weakened by the wound that Reydue gave him >:([/HIDE]

Great episode! Probably the best in the last few weeks. We got some great dialogue between Mai and Roshuo, and I think it's interesting how Mai is wearing a white dress just like the Alternate Mai is (though not the same one). She's like this symbol of purity and hope in a desolate forest. An Eve-like figure. Roshuo, even as the Supreme Overlord, still acts like a bitter adult that can't let go of the past versus Mai who has her childlike innocence and good faith in people. Cool to see that adult vs child mentality still at play this late in the series.

Well....can't say we didn't see what happens in the preview coming. I wonder if we'll ever see more direct confrontations between Sagara and Alternate Mai. It's clear Alternate Mai is some kind of Overlord (perhaps someone similar to Roshuo in that she has the powers of the fruit of knowledge to a certain extent) and Sagara, true to his nature as the tantalizing snake, has led Kouta down a path towards the ultimate power at such great cost.

Great dialogue between Ryouma and Kouta too. Interesting to see Yuya back in some...alternate world dialogue vision thing between the Overlords and Kouta's increasingly uncontrollable power.

Also dug Oren and co. sacrifice to keep things going for the group. It's one of those tested and tried things and works great as Urobuchi said that the latter half of the series would resemble a typical rider show as we (hopefully) see our riders and the traditional and idealistic notions of heroism triumph over evil.

The preview basically looked like it stated that Kouta was to be an Inves/Overlord all along because it was his fate.

It raises the question: "Would Yuuya have held back on killing him like Kouta did to Hase?"

They are making Kiwami look weaker and weaker with each episode. I totally don't mind having a power-up that doesn't make everyone look weak.... But first Micchy and now Ryouma??.
It looked like Duke could have taken out that Overlord with ease, but let Kouta do it so he could study him.

See, this is the problem I had with Kiwami from the beginning. It can copy the other Riders, but does not show any special abilities aside from that, which makes it look like every enemy if faces could have been taken down by all the Riders together.
Sure, its powerful to be as strong as 10+ Riders, but then you see Duke using his awesome abilities, and then you are like "Eh... Are we supposed to be impressed by this guy throwing copy-weapons?"

Kiwami didn't get hit once in the entire fight. That's just how Kouta fights. Ryouma's just a kind of dodge, hit, finisher guy while Kouta likes to get in there really and just go all out. Another thing is that most of the in-show Sengoku Driver users besides Takatora and Oren kinda suck at fighting. At the time of Bravo's debut, you had Kouta, who just kinda randomly flung his arms around, Kaito, who used a spear as a sword, Micchy who uses a gun as a tonfa, and the nut bros who were a joke. That was actually kinda the entire reason why Oren decided to become an Armored Rider and fell in love with Takatora. Ryouma also put hax on his suit, since you could see that red jewel on his helmet glow. He's not like the rest. Either way, Kiwami's still the strongest.
