Kamen Rider Gaim Ep 29 - "The Overlord King"

Kouta does battle with Zangetsu Shin in Helheim Forest, unaware that it is actually Mitsuzane attacking him using his brother's weapons. In the forest, Takatora is saved by the Overlords and introduced to their leader Roshuo who tells him of their past as the Femushinmu people and the secrets of Helheim. Later, Kouta, Kaito, and Mitsuzane all search the forest for Sid, but Ryoma has set a trap for Kouta.

Well Demushu has entered our world. Surely nothing more surprising will happen within the last minutes of...Oh hey Kikaider.

So it seems like Takatora hasn't taken his own Sengoku Driver with him, but at least with the one he has now he'll be able to survive. But unless a crack appears beside him, or Kouta (and maybe Kaito) finds him, he'll be stuck in Helheim for the rest of his life.

Was about to complain about Baron using Banana, then he does the belt change trick, surely that's a first in Rider history? Changing belts without even getting out of your suit. Loving how Sid starts shitting himself as soon as Kaito whips out his Genesis Driver, that guy is so weak it's funny.

Man Micchi is turning into a schizo now, but at least there's still a purpose for Ryugen to show up, but once Kouta knows Micchi is betraying him then I can't see Micchi using the Sengoku Driver anymore.

As if those blows from Jimber Lemon and Demushu didn't force Micchi to de-transform. I suspect Kouta was still unsure about Zangetsu's actions so he only used Jimber Lemon, if he used Kachidoki Micchi was definitely screwed.

Love that mass fight at the end. Each Rider had a different intention and different opponent, and everything was just f**ked up completely. Kinda reminded me of the episode where Gai got killed by Ouja, 6 of the Riders were fighting it out.

Hopefully the Kikaider crossover will be ok, there's seem to be participation from Ryoma and Yoko as well, so more characters are involved here unlike the Spring crossover.

Well putting that aside, Ep 31 will probably feature Gaim and Baron following Demushu into the city, with Sid left with Micchi in the forest having their encounter with Redyue and Sid going head to head against Roshuo.

Honestly I can't wait for next week's team-up with Kikaider. Especially after seeing all of Micchi's backstabbing, to where he's pretending to be Kouta's friend while trying to figure out how to kill him.

So in this episode, Micchy gets his **** racked.

Nitpick: How did he not de-henshined after that? It's Micchy. The only thing lower than him are Kurokage troopers -_-

Oh, and Toki no Hana > Wizard's Dragon themes. Wasn't exactly a fan of Rider Girls, but this is probably the first time I actually loved one of their musics. Especially the Full Member version.

Hahahaha. Sid and Micchy got their asses kicked. Sid didn't got the memo that Baron also got an upgrade. Micchy severely underestimated Kouta and realizes he's not the meager person he know him several episodes ago in that he's REALLY ready to kill his hated enemy. He was only saved because Demeshu decided to attack them.

Ah well, I'm actually looking forward to it. Should be fun.

But man, Gaim. Damn it's good.

Mai's so supportive of Kouta. At least he still has one good friend.

Liked the explanation that Sid destroyed the lock vehicles, which is why Ryoma is depending on Kouta, Mitchi and Kaito, but Kouta just trusts anyone, doesn't he? I know why, just kind of frustrating, since everyone is so treacherous in this show.

Loved Kaito pointing out Kouta's ignorance about his friends with Mitchi right in front of him. You could see the sparks flickering between them. So much happening between the three characters but not enough communication, though I can see why Kaito is keeping quiet about it.

Mitchi teaming up with Sid was expected. Sid just wants to be god eh? Fight in Helheim was intense. Loved how it started with Baron Banana Arms and his change to Lemon Energy was definitely something previously unheard of in Rider (changing drivers while henshin-ed). Glad to see Mitchi as Zangetsu and Sid get their asses handed to em.

Glad Takatora survived and it looks like Roshuo isn't willing to let humanity grasp hold of the forbidden fruit. Got our first glimpse at it today. That was nice.

Demushu exits into the city... oh man, so excited. I like the idea of a Kikaider crossover but they could have inserted it at a better time.

I like how they are treating Lemon Energy Arms as a form change for Baron. Its like Baron's equivalent to Jinba Lemon and not quite final form levels. This means Baron Banana/Mango Arms will still be used.
