Kamen Rider Gaim Ep 29 - "The Overlord King"

Gaim 29:

- Roshuo finds Takatora, bandages him, gives him a change of clothes, and then lays him in a face-down position as though he just left him alone? What's the point of that? Just lay him on his back.

- If Gaim is an allegory to the Sengoku Era, I wonder if Helheim is a reference to Westerners encountering feudal Japanese and transferring their arms to them, and the rival warlords using these new weapons against each other.

- Why would Kouta get out of Jinber Peach just because he heard Micchi calling for backup? Why deliberately reduce your power?

- Kikaider sanjou! It would've been funny if he had a crossover with Fourze, given his "Switch on!" henshin call.

It's not. Whatever Sengoku era homages they had were in the first arc. It's now an Urobuchi show so utilitarianism and despair.

Are you sure? The Invess games may have stopped but you still have these rival forces going at each other with alliances forming and breaking.

Truth is Micchi hates Kouta for interfering in his little fantasy world. Where Mai & the others are in blissful ignorance. It sounds like he can't handle living in reality, where everything right now has changed. To where both Kouta & Mai has already matured and grown.

It isn't so much that he can't handle reality, I think he used the group and the dancing as an escape from the more stressful parts of his life, with his crush on Mai being calming factor as well. When Kouta drags Mai, into the shadier pool that he has no where to just have fun, the fact that it brings Mai and Kouta even somewhat closer together doesn't help him either.

He looked up to Kouta a lot but now that things are going sideways his true nature clashes so greatly with Kouta he can no longer look at him as an ideal because he knows and has seen in the same circumstances they are different and he can't pretend to be the same anymore now that he knows the stakes.
