Kamen Rider Fourze Discussion Thread - Switch On!

That's why I switched over to Overtime now, I like their simple subs for one, without all the effects and colors. Just the way I like my subtitles. Not saying that TVN is bad though, I know there are people who like it, it's just not my cup of coffee :D

What I really dislike though is when people start discussing about the unsubbed raws and reveal spoilers of said episodes. I rage at spoilers, it makes me a sad Rider fan. :(

Then you should probably stay out of the discussion thread until after you see the subbed episode, just common sense. People will obviously be discussing the episode after it airs, regardless if people are waiting for subs or not

Well, to be fair sometimes you get occupied for a few weeks and lose track of which episode is which week's episode, so you watch all of them anyways and then come into the thread only to find out that the raw for the next episode has already aired and you'd just been spoilered. It happens, at least to me, as I never really did looked at the date of release. Guess I should.

What I really don't get is why are everyone who does not understand japanese prefer to watch the RAW instead of waiting a day or two for the subbed, I know it's hard to wait and all, but you're gonna be watching and don't understand anything that's being said. :/ Maybe it's because I hate spoiler that I dislike watching a show this way.

I watched it again and then I review the thread, everyone talked about Yuuki not being scared when Gentaro is changing to fight the Zodiart but nobody even mentioned that in his first appearance, she saved by Genko in his mecha and they start tchatting about the Zodiart....

They were ready to see them coming, Kengo is directly taking the switches for the belt, choosing them in the middle of plenty of others.

they are just ready for it. she's excited as mentioned by others, to see what she was expecting to see one day, being brought to reality.

I don't see why she should be scared...

She's a geek, she's joyful, nothing more to add, she's perfect like that for this show. She'll probably be a bit more serious on more serious situation as most of the characters do.

I'm wondering if in the next episode, something will be mentioned about the rebuilding of the school walls??

It's good to start in a light ambiance as I'm sure it will change for darker moment.

Also, it's the first time that the end of a rider series brings the characters of the following no? It's easier for the Movie War in a way... But I still don't see how they'll do.

Because one can get the gist of the show without even knowing what they're talking about. Have you seen silent movies before? If not, then you should. Actions speaks louder than words....

It's fine as long as you can enjoy it, even though you can't understand much of it, yet. We can at least guess what's happening in one episode from what're they doing. The fight's really understandable though :P
And when the subs start kicking in, we get to know whats going on
IMO it's just not right for me to not watch Kamen Rider everyweek, feels like missing something awesome :disappoin

the title of the Movie War has been announced it seems, Kamen Rider OZ - Kamen Rider Fourze Megamax... Featuring both riders so.... How will they bring Anhk and the core medals, that's the major challenge for the writers !

seems also that the Kamen Rider fan club from Fourze is moving to a Fourze dedicated club which would back him up. Toei has been clear about avoiding bringing any former Rider in the show to avoid the Decade comparison.

I think having Itchigo as an fun intro for episode 1 was enough. It's an anniversary but that should not be a reason to bring every riders again and again. This was done already with Decade and then in Oz, Itchigo and den-o...

I always thought that maybe Decade could have been a great rider if he had his own world with his own story.

I sure can enjoy it, but I guess it's in me to not watch a show without being able to fully understand the language used. I need subtitles when it's not in english, and even if it's in my native language which is cantonese/mandarin I still prefer english subtitles just so I get to learn to speak in my own mother tongue more fluently >>"

It's only wrong when you're not having exams or any other activities that drains you both mentally and physically. :P Otherwise you lose track, or perhaps that happens because I wasn't very into the show. Since this only happened to me for OOO and W. I sure loved W, don't know why I was missing out weeks, but then again, those were probably the episodes that were boring. But I never managed to get really into OOO.

Except when it's an episode that explains stuff, like let's say we watch an episode in RAW where they explain what the Zodiarts are, and how the Fourze system was made. Sure we ca probably guess they are talking about Zodiarts and Fourze, but I'll hate to be going "What the hell are they talking about Fourze and the Zodiarts?! Time to wait a day or two for the subs so I can finally know what's happening!"

Yeah...ain't happening for me. :P

As Winter Chevalier pointed out, you can just stay out of the talk/rumor threads if you haven't seen the subbed episodes. We've had several HJU members that do that too. And just to confirm, you mentioned about "mother tongue"... Are you a American/British Chinese then?
