Just watched episode 32, I take my words back on Cosmic States being ugly as fudge. The design works really well in motion!! [snip] I can't see anyone beside Psychotime who isn't pleased with it. :loltongue:

Heh. I still think it looks ugly compared to the other forms, but after seeing it in action I can tolerate it.

Again, I admit to liking Blade's King form, so I'm probably a weirdo.

It still does, I wonder about the theory of Leo and Virgo being Gentarou's parents though. But I'm gonna stay all the way away from spoilers. I like surprises and unexpected twists.

That can't fit right now. We presumably saw their silhouettes in the after-life or lifestream or wherever Gentaro was before coming back to life.

But who knows. It'd be a great twist.

Haru(the new 1st year), former Musca Zodiarts, is currently hospitalised.

The dude looked like a crack addict when he was under the switches power. It's not surprising he's in the hospital.

I really wish they did more of that for low level zodiarts to visually show how much the switches mess them up, but we obviously won't be seeing any low level monsters anymore.

The long-haired dude in the trailer for next week seems to be Leo (hair like a lion's mane?) Virgo could be Gentaro's mother, possibly - she seems to be an adult because Kijima was supposedly the first student since Sonoda to have become a Horoscope. All the rest will most likely be kids because Hayami gave out eight Switches to the students most likely to be Horoscopes, Musca was one and Yamada was another, leaving six more for the six remaining star signs

One thing that went through my head at the fight at the end, "Battle in a rock quarry with an random lone vehicle present? Yep. This is a Koichi Sakamoto episode"

I just love that moment after Gentaro transforms into Cosmic States.He yells out "UCHUU KITAA!!!!!!" and it zooms out into the whole galaxy.Then, he introduces himself with the awesome lens glare and the instrument solo just plays when that happens.I've replayed that part for about a million times now and it never gets old.

Fourze 32:

- Good to see Meteor's bike again.

- Tachibana's attitude seems odd. He wanted Ryusei to infiltrate the Club whilst hiding his identity, and then gets upset over his betrayal? I'm not saying he should have supported Ryusei in this, but given the circumstances it's not really what you would expect from him. At the very least you'd think he would be indifferent.

- Ryusei should have said "I'm not a Rider and I never was" to Tomoko, or something like that >>

- So Tachibana is the "Shroud" of this show after all.

- I like the way Virgo teleports Yamada to Gamou's office, and Hayami casually telling him to accept punishment.

- Why does Ryusei value Jiro so much? In other words, what happened between them for there to be such a bond between the two, at least in Ryusei's eyes?

- Ryusei's monologue in the rain really makes me wish Fourze didn't have all the cartoonish silliness it does. It hampers the impact of moments like these and characters like Gentaro.

- Even in an episode like this, Ohsugi has to play the fool? :disappoin

- Gentaro should keep his hair down, it looks much better that way. And I like his hand clasp with Kengo without the rest of his usual routine.

- Noooo! Don't play the OP theme! Not in a scene like this! It doesn't go well at all!!

- Why did Gentaro remove his belt only to put it back on?

- I wish the rocket sheath on the Barizun Sword ejected like real rocket stages to reveal the blade instead of folding down. I can't imagine it's easy to wield with such large pieces in the way.

- So you only need to put one Switch into the Sword but can press a button to use other Switches with it? And do all 40 Switches appear on Cosmic's chest regardless of which ones are actually inserted into the belt?

I'd rather a generic beeping sound emitted when you press the Switch number on the chest, instead of repeating the Switch name three times in the process of using it.

- Someone here said that he wanted the Supernovas to be more like the evolved Grongis than CGI monsters. Looks like he got his wish, but I wonder if it was only because there was no time to give Aries one.

- How did Virgo retrieve the Aries Switch?

- I don't think revealing Yamada's ironic fate really goes well with the "happy guitar tune" playing in the background.

But we do get a "Nigo Rider"!

Personally, I don't really understand why he wants Tachibana to keep his identity a secret, even after the reveal to the KRC. I understand that he did it at first so he could spy on KRC's intel without their knowledge, but I don't see what's so important about it that they must keep it hidden. Heck, Gentaro never worry about this stuff even though they wanted to keep KRC and Rabbit Hutch a secret. I guess Tachibana didn't want Gamou to find out about the Anti-Zodiart Alliance, but still.

Yeah, I thought Ryusei would've said something to Tomoko, but he didn't.

I thought it was guilt more than anything, because as I understand it the switch originally belonged to Ryusei, before Jiro stole it and activated it. That's why Ryusei became obsessive about healing his friend.

I was surprised to learn that the sheath just peels to the side like a banana, instead of falling to the ground. It is a minor annoyance at what otherwise is an awesome design for the weapon.

They forgave Ryusei way to easily and quickly. This arc made Gentaro almost like a Christ metaphor that I don't the character or the show needed.

the situation is more complex; first, Ryuusei killed Gentaro; and then, he risks his life to save the others's lives, showing how much remorse he was feeling about his actions; besides, you must have noticed that when Ryuusei was fighting Aries and the Dustards, he was fighting a fight he kew he was gonna ultimately lose, and be killed in the process; even before Gentaro's comeback, they already pitied him, telling him to stop fighting, like they ddin't want him to be killed; besides, JK summed up the situation nicely; difficult not to forgive a guy when you have his murder victim as a defense attorney; moreover, since Ryuusei killed Gentaro to save his friend, it's exactly the kind of stuff Gentaro can appreciate in a guy who killed him
btw, anyone has noticed Tachibana being somewhat of an hypocrite; he could have stopped Ryuusei from killing Gentaro just by cancelling his powers before the fatal punch, but hasn't ; that guy KNEW that Gentaro could be revived and let Ryuusei kill Gentaro knowing that in fact, he would have remorse from commiting murder, but at the same time be at last able to save his friend, and eventually, have Ryuusei be less arrogant because he would feel guilty of hurting Kisaragi instead of self righteous like before.

Virgo can teleport things as well as people, so it's normal to just warp the thing from outer space and into Gamou.

And Virgo said that Cosmic States had abilities similar to hers, not necessarily that Cosmic States power levels were up to par with Virgo's herself. Of course, it could indirectly mean that Fourze's power is now capable of reaching that of Leo and Virgo.

And Libra's gonna get the boot. First Kijima, then Yamada, and now he is going to thrashed by Cosmic and Leo? Tough love for the insect man.
