As soon as Proto-Drive spoke, I knew it had to be Chase. Unless he's some sort of copy, which we can't rule out, I think we all know what happened to Proto-Drive after the Global Freeze.

Onto the subject of Mach, I like the design, although the helmet is a bit of a letdown IMO. I get what they were going for, but it just seems off. Like, he needs a mouth plate and it would be fine.

And with Type Formula confirmed, along with the Trailer Cannon, I think it's a safe bet that we'll be getting Type Over. I'm actually kinda worried that it'll just be Kiwami again, because I want it to be a little more unique.

I'll bet you almost anything that the Chase we've been following so far is either a Roimude (or something very much like one) that took Proto's (I'm not calling him Chase, odds are that's not his original name) appearance and is slowly starting to gain his memories and/or emotions (a la the Worm from Kabuto) or possibly a brainwashed Proto who Belty (that's what I'm calling him now ) thought was killed but was saved and brainwashed Weapon X-style into Chase.

That's a good question. There have been no mentions of premonitions in Drive at all, so him having this dream makes no sense. We still don't know his whole history, but I doubt he has some sort of physic ability.

So...we now know where the Roidmudes came from. Interesting. It's like some Terminator **** now. Not that it's a bad thing.

It's something along this. Chase as Proto-Drive was killed and "saved" by Heart. He used a Viral Core to save him as long as he did what he was told to do. Essentially blackmailed by a Roidmude... The Viral Core "corrupted" Proto-Drive and "evolved" it into Mashin Chaser. After seeing the subs and hearing Heart mention a "promise", that's what seems to make sense to me.

Based on what we know about Proto-Drive, I doubt he's the kind of guy who would value his own life over others.
