Mashin Chaser silhouette. I really dig the one bug eye as if he's supposed to have two or like he's wearing an eye patch or something and not just a cyclops eye or a visor, it's different. His whole design looks like it's going to be very mechanical, I get like cyberpunk feels from it.

Yeah, seems they made a deliberate choice to have a mostly-older cast this time around, I find that quite interesting. Even "Kiriko" is older than most recent female leads who have all been 15-19ish. Kamen Rider's target audience is not that much older than Sentai's, and it's only two years back that Riku Sanjo claimed that Toei wouldn't let him make Nossan a 40-something as that was too old ...

I don't think so, both siloutettes are him facing forward. He's probably standing at a slight angle but he's still facing forward. Toei has never silhouetted a Rider looking to the side.

Apparently some people think Drive is ugly, or not handsome or pretty. I guess I'm blind then. He looks better than Kouta and Haruto, even Gentaro. Also of course he doesnt have an ikeman hairstyle in the show, he actually sells the cop look more than Accel did.

Actually the actor who played kuugas alter ego Yusuke Godai has a mole in his chin as well.

Can we assume that they will only have 36 monsters in total (including the longer term bad guys) and the 72 will be mooks?

The scan doesn't say anything about that, it only mentions that the Roimyuuds are a group of 108 monsters, no categories are defined. And to me, it is probably similar to the 108 specters in Saint Seiya Hades Arc, at least that's how I understood it. Plus, they gave a number to each Roimyuud, and so it proves that none of them are considered as mooks.

For the purple Roimyuud, its name is Iron Roimyuud (number 029) and it also has a solid body, so it isn't Mashin Chaser. We only know that Mashin Chaser is a powerful rival from the other scan, and that seems like another Rider to me, not a monster, otherwise why call him a rival ?

Also, the second woman in the cast, Rinna Zawakami, will be a scientist in this special unit. The cast is much older than what we have had in the other series, and I really won't complain about that, I think it is actually great.

guys......the dark tone from gaim might be reduced, judging from all info that we've had.

actually it's okay if it really is (i hope that i'm wrong though :laugh, but it will surely make things worse if they pick-up 2 eps arc format..yeahh, i'm still sceptical about this show when thinking dat format thing :eyebrow:

I think that's cool! Since they are apart of the Tokyo MPD, it's realistic to have older characters apart of it rather young adults in their early 20s or in their late teens. This makes me really curious of what tone the show will have, might be serious toned after all.

I love the dark tone shows like Gaim but if it's lighter toned I don't mind really as long as it's well written and good. And light tone isn't bad, Den-O and Fourze were very good imo and were dramatic in their own ways. Maybe it'll be something in the middle like W, dark/serious toned with the right amounts of lighthearted fun.
